I'm probably mostly a "Jack", with a little bit of "Katie" on the side.

I do want to improve as a writer. If you got any tips on how I can improve as a writer, then please do assist me.

Majority of it is because I lack confidence in myself. I know I mention that I suck as a writer, but in all honesty I'm not that terrible. It's just my grammar and showing can use work.

Download a plugin called Grammarly. I have it for Chrome. It's probably available for Firefox too. It's like a spell check for grammar. It will usually tell you if you use the wrong tense, or write a contraction incorrectly or drop a comma. However, if you want to get better, make sure you understand why it is telling you something is wrong instead of blindly clicking the "fix it for me button".

For example, the plugin is telling me that you should start your post with the word "The" and put a comma after "honesty". Why is that? Well, your first sentence is a fragment, and there should be a pause after you use a phrase like "in all honesty". Most transitional phrases like that require pauses afterward.

Dude, you got to pay for Grammarly and I have zero cash on me.

I just discovered that Grammarly is in fact free. Because years ago you had to pay for it.

Marie, definitely. Which is why I stay off books when I'm pressed for time. Because once I start, I'll never get anything done.
