I heard some DJs talking about when is OK for man to cry this morning,

I asked my Alpha Dad about this. Some of the DJs answers were pretty lame.

He said their are two categories when you cry for yourself and when you cry with someone. He came up with list.

For your self
- Death of a family member (but not too long in public as the family looks to you to be strong for everyone else - plenty in private).
- When you loose (die) a Soldier or a friend in combat (or in garrison).
- When you spill your beer or alcoholic drink
- When listening to a song they played at your Mom's funeral
- If you're injured really badly - we're talking lots of pain

With someone
- When someone losses a friend in combat
- When a spouse looses their spouse in combat and you have to notify the spouse (but again you have to be strong for that person so not too long)

What do you think?????

...Whenever they feel like crying? Why aren't men allowed to show emotion? I get being strong for everyone else, but why is it the man's job?

I always found it weird that a lot of the toxic masculine ideas people expressed have never been said around me, even when living in a south western conservative state. Id say its ok any time

Duh! of course men can shed happy, nostalgic or manly tears. What isn't okay is for us to get all whiney and temperamental, that is having a BF, the worst kind of crying.

Why on earth would you let other people dictate when you cry and when you shouldn't? Only you can decide when you should cry. So when should men cry? Whenever that person feels like they should! We are all human, and we all feel emotions.

Funerals/the death of a close one are probably the only time that i ever cry, as far as an actual cry.
But sometimes music or even a tv show or something can get my eyes watery.

lol at when spilling your alcoholic drink. Whilst not literally true, i cry inside when that happens.
