Pilotless planes to take flight

I hope we don't have to sign a waiver before getting on these pilotless planes.

I would wait for them to finish testing them first and millions of people using them on a daily basis.

I wouldn't mind flying on one if they developed the technology to be more reliable than humans, sorta like self-driving cars are supposed to be once they become a thing.

Only after a few million people test it for me first, for about ten years or so.

Its an interesting topic with both merits and demerits. On one hand you could say pilot less/cockpit less planes would have prevented several hijackings including the planes involved on 9/11/2001. On the other hand my computer usually chooses to crap out on me at the most in-opportune time. Halfway to Japan is not a time I would be ok with the plane thinking it was time to land... Would have to see test flights and safety protocols put in place before I would agree. Though would this really make the flights cheaper for the consumer or the flight industry? I would bet the automation of a plane in regards to staffing and hardware would far exceed the salary of 2 pilots. But I could be wrong

im with the pilot, they would need to have an emergency control but that would open it up to hackers...

No. There being absolutely no pilots for emergency situations seems like an awful idea.

Actually planes mostly fly themselves. The pilots are mainly there incase the computers fail or bad weather happens.
