I have a kindle fire hdx 8.9 and am using the most recent OS. I wasn't having any problems at first, but after I restarted my device, suddenly any time I touch the screen during a video, the progress bar will pop up and never go away. It just blinks at me like it's trying to go away, but it stays there. Blinking. Covering the subtitles.

This is kind of obnoxious because I can't pause my videos. The only way I've discovered to make the progress bar go away is to put the kindle to sleep and then wake it back up. When it wakes up, it'll automatically start playing the video again but sans progress bar. However, this method is less ideal than just pausing because every time I do it, I miss 10-ish seconds of the video while it's in the process of going to sleep and waking back up.

Is there a way to fix this? Do I have to wait for the ap to update? Is this problem going to be addressed in the next update?

Thanks!

Also, on my kindle fire, my videos won't auto-play. Is this normal? It's kind of annoying, since I enjoy letting them auto-play when I access via my PS4.
