Eh? You mean the ads or the app itself?

How to I remove that damned banner at the top of the page? It's annoying and I want it gone.

Edit: Nevermind, was able to remove it with Ublock, I have NEVER had to use adblock on CR as a Premium user and this is the first time I have had to put it on because of this damned banner they have coded into the website, even for CR Premium users. It's obnoxious.

The ads are cancer, paying for premium just to watch anime and getting this shit shoved into your face for which anime fans don't really care is really not OK !

Is this really a problem? The banner only shows up on the home page and the shows page and hardly takes up any space. Easy to ignore. The giant Crunchyroll Expo ad covers a lot more since it's also a background and on a lot more pages.

CR and VRV are from the same parent company: Ellation. Because VRV is on a different infrastructure, getting more users there means less congestion on CR during heavy loads, such as the weekends.

VRV doesn't even stream properly on web browsers. You should probably hold off on advertising until the website actually functions as intended.

VRV added HTML5 playback for browser a couple months ago, I believe. It's essentially the same HTML5 player that CR currently has in beta for Premium+ members.

Define "not properly".

It's pretty annoying that they pop up windows about content on VRV when I'm using the Crunchyroll app. The VRV app is nice, but the viewing history isn't synchronized between the two services even though my Crunchyroll Premium account is linked so I just stick with the Crunchyroll app. If I wanted to watch stuff on VRV, I'd open the VRV app. I pay so I don't have to see ads. Is Elation planning on shutting down Crunchyroll or something?

Define "not properly".

1. Does not transition between videos, may start correctly for the first few videos in a series but will always fail after a short time. Instead it will load the name of the correct video only to continue playing back to the previous video until the browser is refreshed, which you must do from that point with every video in the series. Happens on Edge and Firefox.

2. Some videos do not play at all, just a permanent black screen box without the video controls.
