Want opinions and facts regarding which anime series is best to watch that's over 100+ episodes.

Dis-including Dragon Ball, Z, and Super for other reasons.

I plan to catch up with some reruns, and was wondering if anyone has suggestions for new viewing.

I've seen: Dragon Ball, etcetera, Naruto, but haven't finished Shippuden, or Bleach. Watched Gundam Wing.

Very interested in unmentioned series.

Hunter x Hunter is really good. Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans is also really good (and Unicorn). One Piece is really good too, but it's long. Fairy Tail and Bleach are decent from what I've seen. And I like Sailor Moon, but I don't think that's what you're seeking.

Not many series go 100+.

Hunter x Hunter I would say is probably the best one though as it faithfully and without fillers adapts the entire manga.

Gintama is also really great.

Yuyu Hakusho would be another really good one.

Almost forgot, Legend of the Galactic Heroes, this one is also one of the best and could hold it's own against HxH. I'd describe it as Code Geass without fantasy elements (pure sci-fi) that spans about 120 something episodes.

Will admit, sitting down to watch over 700 episodes of anything requires a strategic plan, and possibly good company.

I was looking at Iron-Blooded Orphans.

Case Closed.

.... understatement? There's no way LOGH isn't a thousand times better than HxH (or anything else shonen, besides Case Closed).

Fairy tail has good length coming the arcs, but with bleach what hell I known that the battles are huge, I am happy with that but arcs are two long. The gundam series is good for the 50 episode mark.

Precure. I also enjoyed Shugo Chara, but I didn't quite appreciate the filler in it. You could argue that Precure has the same kind of filler, but I find the SoL aspects more enjoyable.

...What's that you say?... Waddya mean that's not what you meant!

If I had to give a more "traditional" answer, I guess I'd go with Hunter x Hunter, since that's probably the only other one I've seen. But it was still pretty darn good. Got me invested despite not normally being a fan of the genre.

Uh, think Ranma 1/2 (on Hulu) managed a decent 150+ or so?

I've moved this to the Advice, Info, Recommendations forum.

Having stopped watching Shippuden due to not just enormous amounts of filler, but filler that disrupted the flow of the overall story, I can't recommend that.

What I would suggest, if you haven't watched it, is Hunter x Hunter. It's not without flaws but for the most part each episode leaves you wanting to watch the next one right away. I binge-watched the first half or more catching up until I was where I needed to wait a week for each episode to air, and I can vouch for it being a good binge-watch!
