Wearing shoes in the house may track in more than you think
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rdYffLGRamo

this is nothing new if you think about where you are walking/running on/into..

I stepped on cow/dog poops during my runs all the time. There's nothing i hate more than guests coming in the house with their shoes on right after i just cleaned the whole 1st floor.

Leave your shoes at the front door-- we have in-house slippers available if you still like to wear something while inside the house

i want to do something similar to this with my house... a place to put shoes in the house so people will not afraid of them being stolen and don't have to worry about them bringing craps in the house..

I couldn't imagine people wearing shoes in the house. Maybe it's a cultural thing? I don't know anyone who does that.

^ I try to avoid wearing shoes while walking on water. It's so nice to feel the enticing nibbles of piranha now & then picking away at either the toe jam lodged within or fresh maggots emanating from blisters (account brushes with thorn bushes, alligator bite misses).

One of my nephews requires shoes be parked at entryways before entering his home. I can go along with it since it's his home and he wants his wife and 3 kids to reside in a nice environment free of outside contagions. As for me I don't mind trompin' around my abode barefoot, wearing an occasional compression sock or 2 on irregular covered surface areas within. The 2 cats, 1 dog seem to like that arrangement too. I used to wear tenny-runners in but now that I'm slowly becoming civilized aka Mrs Bemused souvenirs embedded within the treads no longer grace our floors awaiting eventual discovery come lights out, dark o' night trips to the refrigerator....boo hoo. I miss those tours of discovery for some reason.

I generally don't wear shoes or socks around the house and I also generally discourage guests from wearing shoes too just for cleaning's sake.

In my Mom and Dad's place they wear shoes, but when I moved out I started keeping on a rack by the front door. That's how it remains.

I take my shoes off when inside my apartment or parents' home, but only because it's uncomfortable to wear them.

Growing up we always wore shoes in the house.

After getting married it's shoes off. Now I'm at the point were I will pop a blood vessel if I see you step one foot in the "no shoe" area with your nasty shoes.

I don't wear shoes in my house however my family does.

I don't find it comfortable wearing them in the house anyways so there isn't much point in wearing them around the house unless for some reason it is needed.
