How weird is it for a couple in a long distance relationship to set up their webcams so that they can see each other sleeping/talk right when they wake up?

Your bank account will take a hit from the power/internet bills..
I don't judge, if thats what you and your SO wants to do (or already do), don't let others decide for you.

I don't mean to interrupt, but what does SO stand for because I am very curious.

Just means there's something you two need to do as quickly as possible, It would be weird if you weren't planning that already (talking to the hypothetical couple that has nothing to do with you).

It's weird, but it's not really doing any harm so I don't mind it

A large portion of my energy goes towards making us happy and having a good time together as opposed to being negative about everything like normal. You'd vomit if you knew all the cheesy stuff we say and do and plan on doing. We're going to be THAT couple, is what we always say.

Significant other. I refuse to say girlfriend or boyfriend or he or she while talking about them because I don't want people to know my gender or the gender of the person I am dating. I'm just a secretive asshole.

That's understandable that you want to keep your privacy.

It's a little weird, but not in a bad way. It's a long distance relationship, and I had one of those many years ago. They're difficult, especially if you care for the person. We never took it to that level, but I can see why one might want to. It's "sweet".

Long distance relationships, especially ones you intend to take seriously and turn into non-long-distance relationships, are tough to get through. I met mine, but we didn't have that long together, and a year or so later it got to be too much, the distance, so.. that's that.

But I don't think it's THAT weird, it seems like a step that may have helped us stay together, just so we'd feel closer, ya know?

Sounds great, it sounds much better than being "that person" on the forum, which applies to me more than you. I wish you luck.
