S1 is from Yomiuri Telecasting Corporation (YTV) and S2 is PA Works.

Interesting. While I did check the page prior to posting, apparently I didn't see what I thought I did. Likewise, the publisher pages confirm this, as well (with EF2 being the only title on PA Works page thus far):
http://www.crunchyroll.com/publisher/YTV
http://www.crunchyroll.com/publisher/paworks

I was curious how the territories when it originally was simulcast compare to the what was achieved for the second series, and there is a definite difference:

First series, when originally simulcast:

U.S.A., Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, Denmark, Finland, Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, Spain, Portugal, Turkey, Mexico and South America.

Second series:

worldwide excluding Asia and French and German-speaking territories.

Off topic a bit, but in checking out information on the first series on CR, I noted that just as is happening this season, Attack on Titan was airing at the same time.

I assume that subtitled versions of shows are being brought over from Funimation in rough order of popularity. It saddens and disturbs me that Sky Wizards Academy is more popular than The Tatami Galaxy (or one of my personal favorites but less acclaimed Concrete Revolutio). I already knew that, considering that the drek already had a North American home video release.

There is likely another reason: Check the titles that have been brought over, and I don't believe you'll find a single subtitled-only release among them.

I doubt it's popularity otherwise stuff like Prison School and Steins;Gate would be here. I'd be surprised if The Tatami Galaxy is brought over as it wasn't dubbed and Funimation removes the subbed versions once Crunchyroll has them http://imgur.com/EcqX3jf

Most of the shows listed for the UK are coming up, but the Gantz page says it's not available due to regional restrictions. Does anyone know if that's an admin error or if CR haven't licensed it for the UK after all?

Well, it says that now. Earlier it listed the exact same countries shown for Sky Wizards Academy (above) and Aquarion Logos (below), so it was probably a copy&paste error. Oh well.

It will be interesting to see if either next week or the week after will be the last of the Thursday "shipment" of titles from Funimation for a while, as we approach the beginning of the summer simulcast announcements.

At least the process has been going much better than the drought we had during the winter season.
