real fish and fries and you got to have the mushy peas

The mushy peas actually look pretty good. Never had them with it before.

Not only do I love fish and chips but I catch and cook it myself. True fresh fish means it was caught a couple of hours before cooking.

I like it, but I think tartar sauce was created by the devil and the idea of beer-battering the fish was an awful idea.

Put in sweet potato fries with some lemon wedges. Maybe some coleslaw. .. It's been so long since I've had it. Nothing beats that flaky and tender consistency, with just that right amount of crisp and firmness. It's a beautiful thing, and when done right

Yes, we are talking about food.

Fish and chips is such a good food. Put the fish into a sandwich and it is even better :D

1. That's not Fish and Chips (crisp, yes; chips, no).
2. What kind of plebian fish and crisps are those?
3. This is legit Fish and Chips:

(from my favourite place in Camden Town, London - Poppies. They've gone from having a large two story restaurant to just having a stall in the Chalk Farm Market/Camden Stables, but they're still pretty damn good.)

I didn't start to like fish and chips until last year. Before I'd only have the chunky chips, sometimes with the mushy peas sometimes with curry sauce or just like that with the condiments salt and vinegar. Still I can't take too much fish in batter. My limit is a small fillet of fish big ones are too much.

Try beer cheese. It tastes like puke on steroids. I tossed it out after a couple of bites because the rotten wheat taste was so bad. I believe that nobody likes the taste of beer.

I miss the proper British fish & chips. Sometimes I go to British themed pubs and get it there and even made my own last week, but it's not the same as eating it all wrapped up in paper with a wooden two pronged fork at the seaside.

Yeah, prefer honey mustard for my fries instead.
