Does anyone know why Crunchyroll doesn't have the first 57 chapters of Attack On Titan (Shingeki No Kyojin) I would like to read this manga but I can't because Crunchyroll only has chapters 58 and onwards, this series is very popular and I was surprised to find that not every chapter was there.
So if anyone has some answers for me that would be great, thanks!

I think Attack on Titan is one of the series Crunchyroll removes the chapters for when Kodansha releases the volumes those chapters are in.

I've moved this over to Manga Support.

Doublethree is correct. There are some titles, AoT being one of them, where Crunchyroll only has the chapters until they are published in volumes--which can then be purchased elsewhere (possibly even on the new Manga shop that's on the Crunchyroll Android app, though I haven't explored that).

The licensing contract requires us to take down chapters from the reader once the licensor requests it, usually once they have published the volume on paper in the US in this case.
