Although I wouldn't define a set of limits about what can and can't be comedy, I sometimes feel like people go out of their way to offend people with their jokes, and that kind of pisses me off.

People are sensitive. They'll be up your ass as soon as you offend them.

It has been said that if you find yourself dead in a ditch behind a convenience store, you probably burned one too many bridges with your jokes, chucklehead.

Stop before then.

What's this? A friendly topic woefully underpopulated with bees? My link full of BEES ought to put a stop to that:

I prefer more subtle satire

gornotck ~ Stop before then.

I am quite conscientious; and I don't really joke. I think it's more often a failure on their part to relate, or on mine to engage. I am quite sociable and get along with just about everyone. And if someone means to put me in a ditch, they had better bring the heat.

Until I find someone who goes far beyond Dave Chappelle that's as far as it goes.. From what I've seen at least

Nothing is off limits, especially with memes

I'd think this Line is found by trial and error, or rather, looking into a chat and figuring out what is okay and not okay to joke about, then made jokes based on those boundaries. Though in my opinion, Dark Humor is sort of near the boundary for most chats

Let's see, in his most popular standup routine, Daniel Tosh was joking about

rape
abortion
incest
child molestation
9/11
genocide
famine

he talks about the way hes able to make jokes about this stuff that actually work, while taking to task the those who get all pissy about it
// possesses a great deal of insight as to how comedy works
