Kendrick's album has sold pretty damn well... So I'll say it's still pretty big. Obviously just not as big as stuff like EDM or Pop.

If def dead as fuck compared to what it was. Compared to the 90's. But yeah Kendrick and all these garbage new mumble rappers seem to sell ok.
And whilst hip hop aint that big anymore, rap has become part of the music formular now. As far as mots RnB or pop artists do collaborations with rappers.
Even boy bands and that and Korean groups and that usally include a rapper.
