I live very close to a large shopping area. It's where many restaurants, hotels, and retail businesses are located. Not surprisingly, when I checked shoplifting and theft, it popped up a bunch. Otherwise, there were a few auto thefts and a few burglaries, but they looked to be for businesses. I actually didn't see anything that bad. Sadly, there were a lot of alcohol and drug related offenses in my area. It's a huge problem.

The site did seem to only show data from certain cities. I checked other cities and addresses, and they had nothing.

Sister was robbed of $2,000 worth of makeup. That is her career.
My dad once left a car full of valuables outside the garage. Well, the 4K TV was broken, so they didn't get much of a profit, but the stuff they stole was sort of freakish. Still laugh about the 4K TV tho.

Car robberies, other goodies...

No, SLC, UT is not a safe city for anyone. We have a ton of car break ins.

Lets put it this way,

I just got out of a meeting discussing installing security cameras for a company i work with.
The cost was around $5000, building was easy to defend. Would been easy work as well. Company decided it was a waste of money as nothing get stolen from around here.

We left our garage open overnight twice and nothing was lost, so I'd say mine is pretty safe.

They are already short-staffed as is so leaving your car doors unlocked in Phoenix :/. you are asking to get robbed..

Very ironic I go to GCU which happens to be in the middle of all the crime in Phoenix. Even if there's a lot of crime, a lot of the people I've met are very nice and there's a lot of homeless people. Where I actually live is pretty nice and convenient since it's near food places that are a walk away to them and even the nearest mall is a short walk away. There can be crime nearby once in a great while especially where I used to live (in the Peoria, Arizona Area) where only minutes away a smoke shop was robbed and there was a high speed chase by my old house. Where I live now though, hardly anything happens.
