So question, If there is an anime that has nudity in it, why isn't there an uncensored version of that same episode/series. I do understand that for a younger audience you would want censors but there should be an option to turn off or on said censors if the account being used is above the age of 18. why don't we have this feature?

CR picks up shows as they air in Japan and those mostly become their permanent editions. If it is from a simulcast which has been censored on the air in Japan, it is censored here. CR does not add any censoring.

They do occasionally add back-catalog titles from disk publishers who sometimes provide the uncensored versions, so not everything here is censored, like Gantz and HS DxD, from the Funimation partnership for example, but for the most part, CR does not go back and replace the aired version with the BD version, as those rights go to the company which (usually) only releases them on disk, which CR has not been involved with in the past.

Going forward now with the Funimation partnership, it will be interesting to see if that will change for future shared titles or not...

From what I've saw, is that, shows Crunchyroll pick up after airing (from Funimation or some where else) are normally not censored because of the Blu-ray or DVD release not being censored as well but it is quite weird not having a option to change the version you want to watch in for these type of videos saying that the Blu-ray version does have the option to change between one and another. Though thinking about it, if CR had to have two different types of videos on the one page it would cause more stress on the server.

On the other hand, shows like Seven Mortal Sins that aired last season, Spring 2017, are censored because CR got them directly from the TV broadcast and there censored for restriction reasons.

With the way it is, I think CR's way of censored/non-censored shows is good and makes sense but it would be nice if they revisited some of the censored shows like To Love-Ru Darkness and updated them since the rest of To Love-Ru is not censored.

Given the few titles that CR already had in other regions (e.g., Asobi ni Ikuyo) were not replaced with the uncensored home video versions from Funimation (only the Funimation regions were added), I don't expect any of the shared simulcasts to be updated with uncensored versions after they are released to home video by Funimation.

While I don't recall any censorship in it off hand (anyone remember?), I'll wager that despite Kancolle being a CR home video license and released by Funimation in 2 days, we won't be seeing any update of the video here on CR.
