Of course it's BS. One of the most laughable things was and is the whole notion that a Southern, conservative hawk like Jeff Sessions was colluding with the Russians. It's like suggesting that one of the leaders of Black Lies Matters is colluding with the KKK to stir up racial strife so they can both profit from it...wait, that's actually far more believable.

There's no collusion. It's just an excuse made up to explain why Hillary lost, 'cuz certain people can't accept the fact that she was the worst candidate the Democrats have ever put forth.

Ya know tons of countries are trying to hack us and at the same time were trying to hack them right? Dont pretend anyone is innocent in spying and information gathering. If Russia couldn't hack our vote counting systems then their hacking amounted to nothing besides information gathering. Shitposters and trolls on 4chan had more of an influence than Russia. If anything Russia is having an influence by the Democrats empowering Russia far beyond what they could have ever hoped for.

Right, it's all Dems pushing for investigations into collusion as part of the Russia meddling investigations, and not bi-partisan reviews and criminal investigations into just what damage was done when Trump brought an unregistered foreign agent (Flynn) into security briefings and Trump's own admissions to trying to interfere with the investigation. Clearly the FBI would be leaking as badly as the White House if they actually had something, no way possible there's a more disciplined staff than Trump's. And surely no harm could be done by a hostile foreign actor infamous for waging misinformation campaigns on democratic elections gaining extensive voter information, it's all a bit nothing that drives the ongoing investigations and sanctions leveled against Russia.

Only news organization running the story is RT. Hannity and Rush will probably put them on blast. Trump has already tweeted about it and it was trending on Twitter for a while. Fox News probably knows this is how things are done in the industry both to get ratings and get your opponents to focus on other things, slowing them down in the process. Wasted taxes dollars and legislative time aren't important to them because it's not spent furthering their causes.

I know that good ole boy Jeff Sessions would NEVER collude with the Russians, he would rather have members of the Black Congressional Caucus over his house once every week for Sunday dinner before he would work with the Russians.

But, the Russians waging a misinformation campaign on our election is something that we all should be concerned with, not for the political bllsht that is the Federal government, but for the sanctity of the American Republic. If this was the Soviets (remember them, fyi Putin was a Soviet KGB colonel) waging maskirovka, we would be beside ourselves.

This after that story was pulled and three journalists were fired for it, including an executive editor.

A guy that grew up in the "communists are evil" era and joined the party most staunchly opposed to communism and socialism. Suddenly he's now a Russia colluder because Putin. Its laughable the lack of logic used.

In regards to several CNN members "resigning", this is actually a great example of media doing its job correctly. A lot of people will point to this and say "See! Fake news.", but if anything it demonstrates the gap between an actual news organization with actual reporters and something like InfoWars. Every once in a while a story will get published that shouldn't be published, but CNN seems to have done everything right here. They have publicly and clearly retracted the story and held those responsible for it accountable.

This is what separates CNN and other "mainstream" news organizations from most of the fringe sensationalist websites, while also drawing a clear line between what they think is reportable news and what they think isn't.

Well considering the U.S. does the exact same thing in other countries I think this is just par the course. Trump won because Hillary was so disliked, not because voters were ordered by Russia to vote for him. That's a ridiculous thought.

If you lie about your connections with Russia you get the boot. That's what happened to Flynn.
