I believe they've shown ads, even for Premium members, on the front page for a long time now. This one happens to come from the parent company that both CR and VRV belong to.

Then that in turn would be considered a sponsor ad, which by the service is permitted.

So, if you didn't care about what you were signing up for to begin with because all you cared about was what you wanted which is not what the service even provides, then why did you even sign up for it? That's not logical to me, it just seems silly if anything. Also, saying you'll just go back to illegitimate means for watching shows because you find ads annoying is more of a statement than a feedback on something. Feedbacks need to be informative about an issue that has occurred, but by the service you signed up for, there is nothing wrong with what you have received, therefore its not actually feedback on something wrong. Now if you wanted to make a suggestion for them to remove that you would have to explain better than it 'being annoying' because there are a lot of things that can be annoying that we have to deal with in everyday life, and removing something annoying for one person will annoy others. Not to mention that as a business they have done nothing wrong, while you as a customer are demanding more than what you paid for. Now, a suggestion that would work is make another form of premium that will remove all ads (including from sponsors) with no other features added or part of a higher rate feature to solve this problem, I mean this IS a suggestion section as you've stated.

As to your last question, I've already stated what my affiliation is, I can't help you if you didn't note that in my post.

You've wrapped your opinion as authority of fact and are not affiliated with Crunchyroll, so I don't need to read this right?

The only advertising I see is labeled as news or is from the store integrated into the service. Those do not obstruct my usage of the site. Granted, I use adblock, so what you are describing may be removed for me and even the overlay may be transient if the extension updates.

If it is simple enough that adblock can handle it and does not create a break in ux when it is there, then I concede that I do not mind any that fit that profile. If it breaks the ux in any way (shifting the page down, creating an overlay, forcing an additional interaction to proceed, etc) then it needs to be removed.
