I see there's a trophy for beating brutal difficulty.. I guess this is like grounded mode for TLOU ?

I also downloaded update 1.02 after putting the disc in. Crushing is already hard enough as is. The only choice is head-shots one after another..

I think it is perfectly possible to do, but why would you want to?

Unless you're coleecting trophies or you're looking for a real challenge, then this is for you. I once tried Uncharted 1 on Brutal. I managed to complete the first few chapters but then i kept failing and failing on Chapter 5 (i think) and i stopped. I just can't do it. At least for now.

there are gamers who would want to challenge themselves by cranking up the difficulty or will try to unlock everything with their favorite games

You don't need to beat the game in Brutal difficulty for the platinum trophy though.

I remember doing that on the first one I kept dieing on the last fight.
I did not play Brutal for the rest of the games instead I enjoyed them instead of torturing myself.

I guess you could say the same thing about games like Bloodborne or Demon/Dark Souls ? The fans of those games/series like torturing themselves?

Humans are adaptable. It's been while but i'm getting used to the the controls again. I am thankful for the generous checkpoint system in uncharted and TLOU games. It would be impossible without it!!

If you can't beat the game, there are tweaks available on YouTube (update 1.02 didn't patch them). You can use unlimited ammo in Brutal difficulty or something

No I love difficulty to point no matter what game I play I usually put it on the hardest difficulty (I love punishment) and if not I usuaully play it normal then the hardest difficulty on second playthrough. I never found Bloodborne (except for 1 boss) and any of the Dark Souls frustrating or all that hard. Challenging yes but hard not really. The Forgotten Demon Souls was the hardest.
With the first Uncharted it was mainly because that last fight on Brutal just wasn't fun and I had no drive to anything other than beat it probably because it was like 5 am and I had played it all day and i still had 3 other Uncharted games to play.

Yes, but only in the Nathan Drake collection. All three games have that. PS3 versions don't have that, though.

I guess they added it for the remastered version (like TLOU remastered -grounded mode)

Does Uncharted 4 have brutal difficulty ? It will be a pain if it is required for the platinum

Thankfully, no. I haven't tried Uncharted 4 Crushing myself, i used the glitches to get two difficulty and speed run related trophies.

How it works? Rather that explaining it myself, check the link below:

Crushing difficulty is not that bad imo. I will start with crushing difficulty from the start since i'll unlock a lot of trophies in 1 play-through (especially those # of kills by weapon type trophies). I'll be dying a lot that is for sure!!

I'll resort to cheats as a last resort (offline only)

True. I may do that someday, who knows. The only thing you CAN'T use in Crushing is lock-on aim. The game warns that if you do that, it will disable difficulty trophies.

One trophy i truly hate is Peaceful Resolution. You have to clear chapters 13 and 14 without you or Sam killing any enemies. No matter what, i couldn't get it. So, i had to use glitches again to get that done. Of course, even that took some attempts.

I'm planning to play uncharted collection on crushing and then play the 4th game. I think i should not have any problem doing headshots after headshots after beating the collection

Does uncharted 4 has offline co-op ? If not you might need to go online and play with another gamer for that trophy. I think uncharted 2 and 3 have the option where you can play the story chapters with another or 2 gamers instead of the AI. It's another way to complete those chapters without killing. or you can just use glitches..

speaking of which, any hackers/gltiches on Uncharted 4 multiplayer ?
