I got this email today I guess COX is not ready for 4K contents

Should we demand them to pay $10/hr for any downtime in return then ??

Maybe for every 50gb are from 1 TB they should give you credit. ISPs are ridiculous.

I'm pretty sure the Ultimate Plan's cap was 2TB .. now ..every plan is 1TB

You are paying MORE for LESS + additional charges.. I think the only time they will change this practice is having a class action lawsuit slap them in the face.

they are still offering the 5 and 15 Mbps plans...

vs the competitor

I remember there was no sale tax or fees on Internet and you can use your own modem. I guess those are the things of the past

Just wait until Net Neutrality is gone. Crunchyroll and other sites will cost you $12 to visit.

$100 a month, and at most I would say 200 GB is used.

The amount of money........ For nothing, absolutely nothing. It makes me wonder why people put a price on access to information.

It makes me wonder why soo much money is invested into doing this.

Is it funny or something? do people get a kick out of this, because its pretty petty to me. having access to information. I walk inside a mall that has access to free Wi-Fi which I can use, but it doesn't mean I'm going to buy anything at that said mall. What if I just went there to look at a possible purchase?

Did it cost them any money?

Does it cost the Casino money if someone is just curious, the possibility of an advantageous outcome for both parties, but serving only to one.

Oh the things I would do It makes me laugh sometimes

Will paying those internet bills solve The worlds debt problems? Oh lawd have mercy, Christ have mercy, Johnny didn't pay for his internet, there will be Consequences; we break legs for less you heathen.

These plans never make sense

You get charged for the bits per second, but then you have only so much data before you pay for the data chunks.

It makes more sense, if you're charged by the data chunk, to choose a smaller plan, since, A. the smaller "pipe" means your data gets spent more miserly, and B. it costs less anyway.

I NEVER get how a plan offers you the equivalent of a fire hydrant, then charges you again per the gallon.

(especially when data really isn't a tangible good in the sense that if you use it it's gone, or that it costs anything to telecoms really to "produce". )

What we wouldn't pay if there were 20 or 40 more cable internet companies that all serviced the same areas instead of being whoever wired the building for sound first.

$10 for 50 GB not TB (1TB =1000GB) I would gladly pay $10 for 50 TB

a digital PS4/Xbox1 game can take up 40-60GB

1 hour of 4K video streaming will eat up 8GB

Obviously they're trying to monetize off of the streaming fad of YouTube and Twits.

Yah. That was my bad. I saw that and was literally LMAO at the irony.

But yeah. I easily take up 600GB of data monthly. And with this steam summer sale.. That's probably going to rise pretty close to a TB as my downloads continue to pump through data..
