Have you ever seen Styrofoam walls before?

I didn't even know this was a thing. Is it prevalent in a certain part of the country or something?

I've worked on a house that had styrofoam walls before.

I've never seen these, but if I knew someone had them I'd feel compelled to smash through them like the kool-aid man.

Why Florida, most houses I've seen here don't have walls, just open yards or fences.

That's probably intended as a sound barrier for road noise rather than a wall.

i probably wouldn't like that if it had that noise that Styrofoam can make it really bugs me. plus it wouldn't provide much protection especially if thier is one like the kool aid man around

its gotta be for sound insulation. standard r5 1 inch close cell foam is alot tougher than that stuff.

If I lived in Florida I would have walls with spikes on top. I would add a moat as well but it would likely fill up with gators and Ravenstein-eating mosquitoes in no time.

For insulation it's understandable, but for a perimeter fence? It would only be find long as everyone doesn't know what its made of or it's part of a Hollywood set thats about to be destroyed.
