Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans was such a good show
. I feel like most people who think this is the best Gundam series ever either only watched it and no other Gundam series before it or because it was their first (like Wing). I know it's supposed to be hyper-tragic but in my opinion, it just comes off as pretentious. To me, SEED, SEED Destiny, and from what I've watched of 00 and Unicorn RE: 0096 are better series than IBO.

I have even less kind feelings about Wing. Gundam Wing is the Sephiroth of Gundam series.

SEED, 00, Turn A and 08th MS are all superior series, yes.

Unicorn was a mess though. More because it required you to know everything about the main timeline to understand most of it.

If that's the case then Iron-Blooded Orphans is the Flandre Scarlet of Gundam series to me. I enjoyed it but I wouldn't watch it again
. The hype also sort of killed the show for me as well.

It was way worse in the books though.

My job has left me feeling dead so therefore from that day forward my feelings are entirely comical and fictional.

I'm getting mixed feelings here
Are people talking about deaths where it did not affect you (felt nothing)
Or where after you were basically dead inside (feeling nothing)?

Mine
was the latter.

Crazy how English do that.

EDIT:
Ok, so actually reading the first post, I get it.
But English is still a weird language.

And changing the answer to any one in Dragon Ball because Dragon Balls

Well, for one

Clannad

I was confused most of the time to actually know what was going on... so I shed not a single tear (unless if it was from laughing maybe.. idk)

Glad I dropped that crappy show before it wasted more of my time.

Well thats not technically true, I didn't feel nothing. I felt disgust and irritation.

I don't cry for non-fictional deaths of people i know.. especially when they had a double heart bypass and told if you smoke again, you will probly die... then they smoked for the next two years and died.

*SPOILER AHEAD*

However, for fictional characters it really depends but after the first could akame ga kill! deaths i got rather immune to it. The main character dying was more like "why? that was unnecessary to the story" but that's all it got.

It would be easier to ask which deaths made me feel anything at all. Fictional characters are rarely developed enough for me to care if they live or die. What follows doesn't help either, whether it's dramatic flashbacks, or "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!"
