... Or even play games for a living?

What games you watch/play, ever see yourself competing at tournaments? Or do you not like eSport and think playing games for money should not be a thing? Share your thoughts!

As for myself, been watching Counter-Strike: Global Offensive(FaZeup!!) for a few years now . But I could never see myself playing it that seriously. Would probably get really stressful.

I've never watched it. i would though.

I used to play Battlefield 2 competitively. Used to love it. I really miss it. 16 vs 16. Was mad fun. I played Bad company 2 as well.
I still play BF games but the competitive scene is dead and has been for some time.

There's no money in it here in Australia.

I played on a ladder but i don think there were prizes. Not sure we never won the whole thing. We were good but not the best. We were a fairly casual clan.
We did have plans and practice matches and etc but yeah played for fun.

I used to go to local fighting game tournaments in a few places I've lived. I can't say that I ever did it for a living. I would make around $150-200 a month off of it, at most. I watch all of the major tournaments for fighting games these days. I've been to EVO a handful of times (competed once and only got top 30.. ego killer). But it's all fun, no harm in being interested in such a scene.

Only of the games I play
So League
Part of that is probably also how structured the League pro scene is, given that is literally directed by the company that made the game. No third parties and the can hype it up, reveal new stuff, etc. Worlds especially is usually pretty sweet.

And I'm a silver scrub; I'm not going pro.

I used to watch League of Legends back in season one and was a big TSM supporter. I don't really play MOBAs anymore, so I've stopped watching.

I've come to prefer MMOs because my experience with their communities has been more positive, and I listen to podcasts instead.

I watch a lot of fighting game tournaments. Well, not as many as I used to but I still watch every now and then and will likely start watching more again now that Tekken 7 is out in home release.

I've never competed myself mainly because I've never lived in a place that had a big enough or strong enough community. Now that I could travel if I wanted to, I have other things going on and, frankly, am just not good enough anymore. There used to be a time where I could have competed but those days are long passed.

TSM!TSM!TSM!TSM!TSM!TSM!TSM!TSM!TSM!TSM!TSM!TSM!TSM!TSM!TSM!TSM!TSM!TSM!TSM!TSM!

If you are from NA and you are not specifically for the other team, you are a TSM fan.

To bad they gonna lose. Maybe win this season in NA (I haven't paid enough attention to say), but NA sucks on a global scale.

I like to watch the FGC and then laugh at how ridiculous they are. Favorite matchup has to be the grudge match between LowTierGod and Viscant from a few years back. You have to watch the buildup and post-match to really appreciate it, though.

Nope, zero interest. I do watch streamers and let's plays but e-sports hold very little interest for me. It probably doesn't help I don't care about the games they tend to play.

I enjoy watching, League (when i was interested in it) and Overwatch I find interesting. Although I've never been good enough at a specific game to be able to play competitively. Every game I've ever played that you could consider "competitive" I've always been just average at. No matter how much time I put in playing and learning I still end up around the same level as the average player base. But I still enjoy playing those games on a casual side, so I can't complain.
