It's like they combined Log Horizon and Escaflowne.

The reincarnation story is getting a bit annoying. But otherwise I enjoyed it.

And seriously, anime characters need to watch out for moving vehicles. I think getting hit in some fashion is going to overtake having an accident on those curvy mountain roads in Japan.

Seriously everyone gets hit with moving vehicles Except for Fukka in anime

If you ignore the ampersand it does say 'KnightsMagic', so maybe they overlooked it.

They're really pushing this kid's undeniable femininity.

another okatu get reincarnated into fantasy world. Alot of world building this eps. The action is nice thought the MC might be a bit too gary-stu for my tastes.. I'll keep watching need my giant robot fix.

It seriously pains me to watch the first episode...

Overall episode, F in quality adaption. I hope that rest of the series is much better or I will be watching brain simulation of what I think how it should be adapted.

Oh, no wonder. Ernesti is voiced by Megumin.

Kind of a mediocre isekai show with a layer of giant robot fetish. The cg is pretty ugly and typical genre tropes abound, but it seems serviceable enough for now. Won't be high on my watch priority, but worth keeping an eye on at least.

Decent first episode was much more entertaining then most anime last season.
Tropes are high but i like tropes so ill let it through.

The pacing is great though i have seen tons of people complain about it (mostly because apparently the manga and novel is slower but if it's slower then this then that's just painful)

High hopes for this series if it can keep it up.
We will find out in time.

I loved the pacing myself but if it cut all that out that's a problem they should of kept the speed whilst doing all that leaving out story is a bad idea :/

I thought it was overall just really fun, honestly the reborn aspect didn't even need to be included. Why not just make him a child prodigy? Anyway the CG was kinda unique looking to the point where it didn't really bother me like it usually does (though why would knights in giant armored robots still need to wear a full suit of armor lol). Looking forward to more of this.

Damn, it felt so rushed.

Honestly, it was like the show dropped viewers into the middle of the story or something. I'll give this more of a chance but the pacing needs to slow down a bit. I'll have to get used to Eru's character as he looks very much like a girl. The mecha elements has my interest so far along with the sci-fi world. Hope they do a better job at storytelling next time though as it felt like all over the place.

When I first saw the promo for the series I thought, "Yes, finally! They're making another mecha anime with the MC being a girl! Oh, wait, that's a boy? *sigh* "

Holy crap, they rush the hell out of this. skip a lot of parts from Vol 1. There's only 5 vols atm and were already at the end of the first vol. Still we'll see how this goes.

I enjoyed this enough. Actually, I probably enjoyed more than I would have as I watched it with some friends and for some reason shows always seem better when viewing in groups. Sort like food until someone tries to steal the last slice of pizza.

I will admit, I was excited for Knights & Magic mainly for the reincarnation aspect, which, after watching, seemed very unnecessary. The MC only seems to remember his love for robots and his proficiency in magic could have been easily explained by just saying he was a genius. No need for the reincarnation shtick. I guess they could lean on that more in the future though.

As far as characters go as a whole, they all seem rather average. Absolutely none of them have stuck out to me at all, yet the twins seem to have a good amount of potential. I am still betting at least one of them will die by the end of the show.

Things also moved kinda fast here like skipping a stone across a pond. It just leaped over potential content to make the next ripple and that wasn't always a good thing.

Anyway, overall I find this to be an average show, yet I could end up being surprised later depending on what direction this takes. I will continue this as it does have some fun moments, but I don't expect to remember it well once everything is all aired and watched.

The car scene at the start..... Not even a shout or a look of surprise.... The reincarnations story isn't bad when it is done right and this has got me keen for the 2nd episode!

I reckon there will be another skip forward in the next episode.

YOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

At first I was like... man this voice does NOT fit the MC at all.

Then I was like... oh wait... he's ded...

OH SNAP. Reincarnated into a fantasy world. Where have I seen this before? (no I did not read the synopsis before watching or posting here)

Then I was like... ehhhhh these monsters look kind of lame.

Then MAGIC FREAKING ROBOTS!

Then I realized what this show was going to be about.

Pretty much all my nerdy Otaku dreams rolled into one.

Fantasy world ✔
Giant Mecha ✔
Giant things for mecha to fight ✔
Magic ✔
Explosions ✔
World Building ✔
Super cute energetic dark haired female childhood friend✔
Comedic yet heroic right hand man friend ✔
Cool soundtrack ✔

My only gripes were with the animation. Parts looked really good, then others seemed rushed/generic.

I just hope this show doesn't get too dark. I like the lightheartedness off it as it is right now.

In fact I wish it were a longer planned show and they took more time with Ernie as a little boy in his middle school studies instead of the 3 year time jump.

As long as it stays like this or better, this will be a keeper for sure.
