Booze is nice. Just be an adult and limit yourself.

After that do whatever tickles your fancy. Watch a crappy but fun anime, TV show, or movie. Or play some mind numbing video game on easy mode.

I write music or draw.
Strangely, when I get really stressed - I start tidying up and cleaning. I guess it's one of those things that kind of came from my upbringing (my mother was exactly the same).

Even after 8 years of therapy we haven't been able to find anything for me the relieves stress even though i have been looking for so long.
As someone who has a lot of stress due to the town he lives in and the only ways of relieving stress being dangerous in the long run.

I'm glad to be leaving my town soon and spending my life avoiding as much stress as possible until i can find a solution haha

Look into meditation/ breathing exercises. It's been scientifically proven to help you lower your heart rate/cortisol levels/stress.

High levels of stress cause your body to suppress t's immune system, increases heart rate, can lead to headaches, elevated blood pressure, etc.

You "dealing" with it through drinking does not do what you may perceive it does. You don't return your body to a relaxed state through participating in those behaviors. You are instead maintaining your body in an increased state of stress and can lead to further problems.

Not judging you about what you do, just saying it's not exactly the healthy way of dealing with the stressors in your life

Already tried that my therapist suggested it on the first year.
Sadly It doesn't really help at all maybe only a little :/

Also never said it was healthy just my only known way of dealing with it.

Everyone says. Exercise meditation and other stuff is proven to help but it either doesn't work for me or like exercise just makes me more angry and in turn more stressed.

It's a problem with No visible end imo thanks for the suggestion
