Kadokawa announced two more anime at Anime Expo on Sunday. The first is an anime adaptation of Tsukumizu's Girls' Last Tour (Shōjo Shūmatsu Ryokō ) manga, and the second is an original anime titled A place further than the Universe (Uchū yorimo Tōi Basho: A Story That Leads to Antarctica).

A place further than the Universe centers on high school girls going to the South Pole. The project will reunite the No Game, No Life staff. Atsuko Ishizuka is serving as animation director and Jukki Hanada is writing the script. Madhouse's Kenji Nakamoto is producing.

And with that, Madhouse is going to have a huge winter season. First Card Captor Sakura, then Overlord, and now this show. With a show about journeying into the frozen tundra, it has to be part of the winter season.
