Nice. Looks like a cross between Gurren Lagann and Kill La Kill. Looking forward to that.

Story info:

The series takes place in the far future, in which humanity has escaped the dying earth in a mobile fortress city called "Plantation." There, a group of young pilots are isolated off in a training facility known as the "Bird Cage." Without seeing the outside world or skies, only being taught how to fight, they prepare to pilot robots known as "FRANXX" in a battle against a huge, mysterious enemy known as "Shriek."

Sounds great except for the A-1 pictures part. To be honest, I think Trigger might be getting a little bit too ahead of themselves. They have this show announced, plus that other one thatw as also just announced, plus this other one that was teased through a twitter image

Oh and supposedly Inferno Cop season 2 is on the way as well. The only other time I can remember Trigger handling two shows so closely together was with Space Patrol Luluco and Kiznaiver and the former was just a series of shorts. As far as I know Trigger hasn't grown in staff size that much recently so I'm worried they may be spreading their resources thin.

Wait a minute.
That's the game Kinucakes is making. That's Indivisible. What is the meaning of this?

Wait, are you sure? Like it's not just something that looks similar, but the same thing? Holy crap, that would be awesome. An anime adaptation of an indie game is somehow both unexpected from them and the most trigger thing to do I can imagine, I really hope thats what happens.

I have no idea!! LOL someone come explain this to us!
I don't recognize any of the characters in the background but I could pick out Ajna anywhere. I wonder if it might just be fanart from one of the artists in Trigger.

In a shocking announcement, this show is being simuldubbed by Funimation. Aniplex of America was expected to license this show and with the way they have been bragging about it on their Facebook page, it seemed like a done deal. They could still licenses the home video release much like what they did with Kiznaiver when they let Crunchyroll handle the dub, but nevertheless that was unexpected news. That puts any fears that Amazon would horde this for themselves to rest.

It's not really that surprising. I was just thinking earlier today that CR would pretty much be guaranteed to have this since it's Aniplex. There's no way it would've gone to Amazon. I guess that wasn't even necessary since Funimation ended up getting it instead.

Only a few more days and it's here. Cool.

I have to admit, it did came as a surprise that Funimation got this instead of Aniplex. Whatever the reason may be, it's nice to see some change of pace.

Trigger's doing the opening movie for Indivisible, this was a stretch goal they revealed ages ago.
