The premise for this show is so absurd. I bet the suicide rate skyrocketed afterwards. What if people don't want to get married? Did they close the borders too so that people can't emigrate and get married in other countries? Do they force people to copulate and what happens in cases of infertility and miscarriage? And how do you make falling in love illegal?? What happens if couples of forced marriages fall in love with each other? How do you even punish someone for falling in love?

Gaaaaaah...

Still going to watch it because it seems like a good trainwreck of a show. xD

And what happens if two couples hook up and trade spouses? What if gays in these forced marriages go through with it, but then just go be with the ones they love? Are they imprisoned, forced into being pregnant? So many questions and loopholes.

...and the little fujoshi in me just squealed at the end of ep 3.

Despite the absurdity of it, it's strangely enjoyable.

Episode 4

This time, Ririna comes over to Yukari's house, and it starts off with her cleaning up his room seeing that she's a clean freak while Yukari is a slob. While they bond, the ministry comes to see how they are getting along, all while explaining how and why they do the matchmaking in this fashion and their reasoning is that relationships are more likely to work out when they start early, and physical appearances often lead to poor choices. Then they visit Misaki, but it turns out that it wasn't to deliver her notice. So for now, Misaki remains free, but that's not expected to last. Quite an interesting take on this whole love thing. Next time, everybody goes camping.

Nisekoi wasn't set in a world where forced marriage was a thing instituted by the government, so not quite the same (though I get your point).

Episode 4

Lilian has dinner at Yukari's place and after heads to his room only to find that it's a mess. She decides to help him clean and while cleaning happens to find his year book and comes across Misaki's picture. While still talking the ministry people happen to come by to see how they are doing and they even explain how marriage partners are picked. After the interview they ask Yukari if he happens to know where Misaki lives and he tells them. The next day at school he's worried that she received the notice and gets a chance to ask her when he volunteers to help her after school. Before meeting her he overhears Misaki and Nisaka talking about something but not sure what? When they are finally alone they both misunderstand what the other is saying, but turns out Misaki didn't receive her notice. In the end Lilian calls Yukari to confirm if Misaki got her notice and that she invited Misaki to the camping trip.

I am so damn tempted to cancel my membership with Crunchyroll as they do not sub one of the best damn opening songs! For some dumb reason nobody has subbed this song at all! Why am I paying the fee to Crunchyroll for subs when they are incomplete with no song subs in almost all there anime!

Your getting paid for providing subbed animes so start doing your damn jobs!

misaki is always lying. Feel kind of bad for Yukari, but he has too many traits of an oblivious MC.

Episode 5

And everybody goes camping. Nisaka cooks, while Ririna twists her ankle while playing in the water with Misaki. But things get intense during the test of courage when Yukari and Misaki pair up and fall into a ditch, causing them to really look like a couple, all while Nisaka is letting Ririna know about it when it comes to her romance. In the end, everybody had fun, but now Yukari and Ririna are ordered to do some special training as those two are going to practice sex. Things ought to get really heated in the next episode with sexual training.
