When your cooking is so good a swordsman, a wizard, and two monsters immediately fall in line because you threaten not to cook for them anymore.

So far I'm suitably impressed and looking forward to leaning more about the assorted worlds the restaurant is connected to and how it came to be. From what I've seen of other anime and drama focusing around a restaurant there's a lot of potential for storytelling since your customers can be just about anyone with their own stories to tell. I'm guessing this will be episodic but hopefully maintaining a thread between the owner and Aletta's story.

I'm really looking forward to more.

I couldn't agree more, very comical but powerful scene to express just how amazing his cooking is. Hope they show more of the cooking as well.

Well this was fairly interesting for a fantasy show.

Pretty animation too for a show with such a simple premise. I've read the novel version for this before too and so far satisfied with this. Aletta is adorable and I like her already. Personally, I think this show has potential. They even captured my attention with the theme songs and music so far.

Possible dark horse of the season?

I mean the first episode was ok? The chef seems like a cool dude at least so might watch to see what happens with him.

I can't believe the shoes fit her. Chef seemed set on hiring her as if he knows something about her - perhaps a sense she may hold a useful power, or it could be simple generosity or a mutually-beneficial right-place, right-time job offer

Or he sized her up and decided she'd fit the uniform.

Fitting the uniform is opportune, no doubt a calculation he could make. The Chef seems very precise in his intent and quality-driven - I think he has faith in her beyond the initial first-impression she gave and beyond her initial and understandable neediness.

Episode 2

This time, it's a treasure hunter ordering mincemeat cutlets, and a knight ordering fried shrimp. It's amusing to see just how much of a culture shock they are experience upon stumbling into the restaurant, but in the end it continues to be great for everybody. I especially like the part where the knight was acting so chivalrous when he didn't have the money to pay for his mean, and then he's desperate to get back when the next time he arrives it isn't there. But in the end, those are two more characters whose lives were changed forever upon stumbling into the restaurant. This continues to be a great feel-good show to watch.

I like this show and wonder what other kinds of characters we will meet. Maybe characters of all sorts and not just like elves, humans but maybe those anthro animals. Just a thought. Also the Day of Satur made me thought of Saturday and seems the cook was about to confirm it.
