But sure. Fuc* dirt and trees for all I care, just be aware that if I lean on a tree in a park and get your fluids on me. I might or might not make personally sure you won't have sex with anything ever again.

Not sure who is the bigger deviant here, the people who love trees or I for being aroused by this comment.

Hmm, reading it again, I do admit it's somewhat open to interpretation. Then again, so is what would arouse someone about it. But, it's you we're talking about, so you're probably aroused by all the interpretations, be it me following you around and stopping you from sexing anything up, or a knife in the groin. Erm, meow or some such?

I am aroused by a great deal of things, but at least a knife to the balls is not one of them. I wish I was making a joke, I really do, but I am a perverted onii chan at heart. :(

Perhaps I am just lonely, or it is that I originally misread "anything" as "me" and had to do a double check before slight disappointment.

Seems more like a cross between performance art and kink. At least that's where it seems to have spawned from.

Sexecology (also ecosexuality) is a term coined[when?] by the couple of performance artist, activist and professor Elizabeth Stephens and sex-educator and performance artist Annie Sprinkle.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sexecology

Looks like it mostly involves the use of ecologically based sex toys, voyeurism, nudism, and possibly a little bdsm judging from those pics.

Yeah well it is artistic, i'll give them that. And yes i can see it as a form of kink. With the out fits and straps/masks and the ceremonies and that..

Sure is. But i guess i used to be really into hentai and anime girls and tentacle porn so maybe i shouldn't jusdge TOO harshly... but that was animated and fantasy, this is real..

ha ha yeah hey, i dont see them licking or sucking or inserting a cactus. And iam sure that there are other good examples.

i wonder if any of them have been bitten by snakes or spiders or etc whilst rolling around naked in the soil. Or just being naked in the forest naked in general?

"Giving back to nature"

There's nothing wrong with loving nature and caring about it and the planet and the environment but gee wizz...

You really do have to wonder what next? Can people get any weirder? if it's not religion(or being a fanatic, extremist or part of a cult) or being gay or being transgender or beastiality or pedophillia or etc its being a Ecosexual i guess.(of course this is alot better and different to some of those but it's weird)

This stuff is as ancient as it gets. The only difference is that there's a new label to it because we're driven to be focused on sexuality these days. The overall "logic" behind ecosexualism is that we (as humans) are an ecosystem that needs to be taken care of and nature is an ecosystem that we should take care of as well. Now that is all fine and dandy (in my opinion) but it expands to sexuality ... let's focus on the origins of "ecosexualism".

It was created by Annie Sprinkle (former prostitute and porn star). She went through a series of changes over the years to where she's now a feminist, self-proclaimed "Queen of Kinks", and the original ecosexual. Essentially, it was a woman who has made her name from controversial kinks and style of feminist-focused art (like the film "War is Menstrual Envy" [NSFW if you go looking this up]). She self-identifies as an ecosexual - which started as a spin-off of ecofeminism (this is why you see more females than males).

Let me do a quick preface of this part of the response with a brief statement: I grew up in a Wiccan household. My mother was single (most of the time) and nudity was encouraged in the house (to be "one" with your body and accept yourself for who you are, etc etc).

Ecosexualism isn't anything all that new. It's just a new label/spin on ecofeminism. Some of the core ideas aren't too far-fetched, it's just the controversial sexuality aspects (like having sex with vegetables, orgasms under/in waterfalls, and the likes). I've met quite a few ecofeminists growing up and it's pretty much the same. It was less focus on "open sexuality" and more about approaching nature as part of our own ecosystem/self-awareness and to love it as you would a lover/significant other.

In other words - it's just another kink. It's not much different to mechanophilia (sexual attraction to bicycles, cars, motorcycles, helicopters, ships, and other mechanical things) when it comes down to the "oddness" of it. As many have said throughout my lifetime (about themselves, friends, and otherwise): "Let your freak flag fly!" (translation: whatever makes you happy as long as it doesn't impede on my own life).
