It means they must have a pretty good thing going if their gender is their top concern.

Wut?

Where I live a birth certificate has always listed "sex" instead of gender, so idk why this is even a thing.

I think some of you guys should probably read the actual article that was linked.

British Columbia (BC) has so far refused Doty’s request to have Searyl’s birth certificate issued without a gender marker.

Even if it does happen to go through, it won't really "scar" the child any more or less than any other event in life. I think people are too quick to judge how people care for their own children. My biggest gripes with parents is usually how disrespectful they've taught their kids to be; which kind of happens regardless of one's sexuality, gender, or sex.

The baby has no serious condition or anything like that.

Just a stupid parent who thinks he is a woman is trying to force this kind of garbage on the kid.

I think this is going too far if people want to have a baby's gender as 'unknown'. It would be confusing in lots of ways for information on paper which needs to list an actual gender plus, it'd be easier to identify your child if you need to search for them.

Why can't people just wait until the kid is of age to ask what gender they actually want to be then just change it if they want to be something else instead of doing this to a baby.

The kid will grow into the gender of his sex, it's happened before.

I agree with everything yumikikoharu said (100%) & it is a bit messed up if you ask me.

I can admit I am transgender but would never do something like that in all honesty. I also agree with everyone that said the kid might grow up being extremely confused in all honesty.

Reminds me of Knights of Sedonia where a character had no gender for a while. I think this probably happened before, but they just picked one gender to put on the card. Then later in life the person either is that gender or they end up getting surgery and/or hormone treatment for a gender change.

un related but i see your name is golden warrior, but something tells me its not in reference of the basketball team
