Gambling is hard to do in South Korea. Foreign nationals can gamble easier than native Koreans can as the laws between natives gambling and foreigners are different.

Spent most of my life away from SK, but since I was born here, gambling is almost not an option.

If you count Gacha as gambling, then yes and I've lost a few thousand to them. I used to be really addicted, but luckily I 'grew' out of it I guess.

Yes.

But I never wager more that I am prepared to walk away from.

I used to gamble a lot on football matches, horses, roulette but had to force myself to walk away. I was losing so much money that it was getting worse and I would even gamble on my phone at work. Had to quit or I'd probably have no money right now.

If you gamble think of it only as a loss.

If you win, do not think you can keep on winning. If you're ever ahead more than a small amount, that is when you leave. Don't go in thinking you are going to get 100$ back with another 100$, once its gone its gone.

Also, goes without saying but, don't gamble at all if you can't afford to lose that much money. I really mean it about leaving when you win too. That's how they pull you into losing more. Its not about the losses so much as the winning and thinking you have some kind of luck or trick.

Its all random. There is no trick, and the house will always win if you think otherwise.

Yeah once you start gambling they always try to keep ypu coming back. If you sign up to on line gambling sites they never stop e mailing you and i even had one mob sending out physical mail with promotions and special offers, one mob texting me and calling me...

Side note, dont you hate it when on a pokie/slot machine you finally get free spins and are like "yeah!" then the machine is stingy as fuck and you barely get shit during those free spins?...
Happened to me the other night, was just doing 50c spins, won 15 free spins and woe like $2....

I don't gamble often, maybe about once a year, mostly on cruises. I play craps and a little roulette, but I've never been into slot machines. I know gambling as a whole is slated against you, but slot machines are just set up to take your money.

For those who are interested in trying a little gambling. You should really learn craps. It looks intimidating, but once you know the rules it's easy and it's one of the best bets in the casino, if you play right. Also, it's way more fun to toss dice across the table with people cheering you on then just pressing a button every couple of seconds.

There used to be a charity poker place near my house and I would go there to play black jack but they shut all the charity poker places down in my area due to a bill that passed which nobody from our town even knew about that they voted on.

I hate casinos because it smells so bad in there.
