Well considering I have only had steam for 8 months and I now own about 183 games.. sure. Why not?

I have spend around $500 on steam games over the years with around 80 games to show for it.

Only 20 of which I have ever booted up, with my top 10 accounting for 95% of my time spend gaming, 70% of that concentrated in my top 5.

Doing it wrong...

I don't go past $100 whenever a sale happens, so far I don't think I've went past $500 though.

I've spent exactly $0.

I still remember when STEAM was something everyone hated because it was the beginning of major companies requiring internet connections to play single player games.

Actually when I eventually build a new PC capable or running modern games, I will probably spend plenty of money on Steam.

Does anyone know how big Steam is in Japan?

I was watching a Yahtzee Crowshaw video the other day and he was talking about half of the new games on Steam being Eroges. In the past it seems that most Visual Novels and Eroges were only published in Japan with perhaps a fan made patch for translation to other languages. It seems like Steam gives the smaller publishers an easy distribution platform if they can afford to translate their VNs etc. to other languages.

I've probably spent somewhere around 800 to 1000$ over the years on Steam counting all the games I have on my account. I purchase almost all games exclusively via Steam now.

I've spent somewhere in the neighborhood of $3,000-3,500 on games through Steam.
I rarely, if ever, play any of them.

My account is 10-ish years old with 348 games plus DLC. I try not to think about how much I paid for all that even accounting for the sales.

Not yet. Probably once I get a super laptop I'll start buying games for it.
