Well, it's not as if I don't have the time. Maybe I'll give it a go.

I think the last one would make more sense if you replaced the CNN logo with an American flag.

There's a man with a long history of con schemes sitting in the white house with the help of a foreign power, and people are busy posting pictures and pretending everything is fine.

This presidency is definitely gonna end in a catastrophe. I just can't see Donald Trump leaving office without something truly awful happening first. Had the exact same feeling after Bush was elected, and this is the same scenario on steroids.

So far, this is my favorite one i've found so far, these are great hahaha.

That is the best one yet. As a fan of the movie I do appreciate the parallel between the scene and the real lofe events.

And if you've read the book it's even worse.

I don't think whomever made the meme has read the book. ;p

You can do what you want to do, that's your prerogative.

I just feel your meme is absolutely perfect for where the US is right now. The people sitting in that fire pretending everything is fine are the people posting memes for Alex Jones's base entertainment website.

CNN is a godawful news site (not as bad as Fox, but pretty much down there). But they're not the president. And they won't be deciding end of the day who we go to war with, what scientific research gets censored, who loses out on healthcare etc...

We're all sitting in a fire together, and everyone thinks it's just fine. I personally just don't see Trump leaving office without some sort of a catastrophe. And I say that based on how he's run his businesses (many of which into the ground) and the cabinet he's assembled - it's nothing but red flags all around.

Honestly feels like I'm living through a very bad history lesson at this point. Might as well have fun and hope everything will be fine.

That's why your meme is perfect for the state of this country.

We elected trump because everything was not fine and we were sick of the house being on years. Hillary was more of the same that would continue with the house on fire. We elected Trump because he wanted to focus on putting the fire out.
CNN is far worse than fox. Try actually watching the two and notice how fox can do actual news reporting while CNN's news reports are thinly veiled opinions that require analysis by experts there to tell you what to think. I used to watch CNN long who till I noticed they were nothing but unresearched news and opinions all around pushing a narrative. Now I jump around and try to find the original source for the news and not bother listening to opinions.

The house has been on fire for at least 16 years

I was bored, made a quick OC meme

Mind you, I don't like Trump at all but this came to mind with all of the talks of "hackers" and "doxxing" from CNN.
Probably could have done better on color mixing and all that jazz, but hey - most conservative meme makers just copypasta on a white background. I got nothing to worry about.

Alex Jones admitted in a court of law to be a performance artist and then subsequently lost his children in a custody dispute.

This is a guy who used his performance 'art' to mock parents who lost their children in Newtown.

Of course it's within his character as a 'performance artist' to use a random news story as another call for clicks towards his site. As bad as CNN can be, InfoWars is about 1,000 times more illegitimate.

You do realize that is taken out of context. If you don't understand that its because you didn't actually look into case yourself or do any critical thinking at all. Please read and research things completely for yourself before regurgitating main stream media opinions. He was referring to the times when he goes into character to mock leftist lunatics but you probably wont understand that either. Please keep eating up all the main stream media lies.

The house has been on fire for at least 16 years

This is what a real fire looked like...

http://money.cnn.com/2009/02/06/news/economy/jobs_january/:
598,000 jobs lost in January 2009

http://money.cnn.com/2009/04/03/news/economy/jobs_march/index.htm?postversion=2009040318:
651,000 jobs lost in February 2009
663,000 jobs lost in March 2009

http://money.cnn.com/2009/01/09/news/economy/jobs_december/:
2.6 million jobs lost throughout the entire year of 2008

Just one of those months alone would be enough to consider it a disastrous year for jobs. We were shedding half a million jobs - every -
single - month.

Let that imagery of an actual economic fire sink in.

In addition, there is no logical/legitimate argument that can be made to pretend as though 2016 had us worse off compared to 2008. And yet that's the argument Trump made to get in office. Now that he's in office he's undoing financial regulations meant to prevent a similar crash (bear in mind he profited from the last one), and he's simultaneously taking credit for job growth on track since the mid 2010s.

Bad enough for Americans not learning from past mistakes. Even worse going back to playing with the same matches that burned us last time around.

Best of Reddit: /u/foxnewsfun describes with sources and statistics \how Fox News lies to its audience for political and financial gain and its influence on Brexit.

The comparison between CNN and Fox is trashy tabloid journalism vs non-existent journalism.

I choose neither. That's why to me this is all a distraction.
