Episode 2:

What a dream....or maybe I should say a nightmare.

Some more info dump about the Sleeping Beauty Syndrome and a dark story from that cat dude. I guess this series isn't afraid of spilling blood left and right given the content. Story has the killing theme although I feel like it's still not very interesting. It's pretty generic for a witch to go after those guys in vengeance...

Every episode also seems to be a standalone? I don't have good expectations for storytelling to develop from here now.

Yeah this week's ep seems a little bit too mean-spirited for my taste. I'm not even sure I would have liked it if the MC let the witch kill the third person. But having him actively take her side by performing the third murder definitely crossed a line for me.

My idealistic and naive self thinks that since each director is different each week, surely there must have been some way to get the witch to wake up while keeping the other two guys alive?

I'm on a similar wavelength with Drewkun88 on this, I think. While this episode 2 really seemed to be testing morals it was rather unsettling. This may be because I am more a long the lines of the professor's way of thinking.'It is wrong to seek revenge on your own,' yet there is another part of me that thinks those kids should have gotten a heavier sentence. Not exactly the

Still, what those three guys did wasn't right, but what happened to them wasn't exactly right either. This witch reminded me strongly of Light Yagami from Death Note on a power trip, except without any potato chips and a reason for being so other than wanting to play 'God.' As Drewkun88 said this episode come off as mean-spirited and didn't really leave the best taste in it's wake. There are definitely some things I wish it had done differently, but at the same time it gave some things to think about. As a whole though, I am leaning away from it.

I do wonder if

Oh wow, that dude in the beginning got Achilles'd AND Van Gogh'd. Harsh.

But anyway, that was definitely... a thing. I have absolutely no idea what this show is going for, especially now that the MC has apparently gone full-villain. And we also see three people die in dreams which equates to their IRL deaths, but we still have no explanation for MC and Prof. Cat's "deaths" last episode...

This episode seems to suffer from having a really promising setup with extremely poor execution. I can see a number of interesting conflicts being pursued here, but it fails to provide even one interesting perspective for any of them. The progression of the plot still feels really arbitrary, and the story piles on at least one more contradiction by revealing that the murderers were repeatedly experiencing that same dream every night without actually dying. Unfortunately, I'm not feeling any better about my premonition from the first episode regarding the sloppy writing.

Looks like were getting a different director for ever eps. Not sure this is a good or bad thing.

All about moral and revenge this eps we get to meet ot cat person in the real world and the reason why he a dream researcher

This time the Witch is watching revenge on 3 guys that killed her family. The lead help out a little with this one. I can't say I agree with what he done, thought I do understand he need to help her. I wonder if this will come back and haunt him later.
Some interesting ideas but not really explored.

How far down the rabbit hole will he go?

a bit more plot and what a gore fest this eps.

The first episode was so disappointing I almost dropped it. The second episode's intensity made me reconsider. Would like to see where it goes next week, to see if the plot solidifies.

The first ep was so weak, I really wanted to drop it, but the second was much better. Let's see where the third goes. I also would have helped her, bite me

18if EP 1The Witch of Thunder”

The art is insane / Sword Art Online meets Kyousougiga

Started out slow but had a good ending for Yuko who woke up much to her mothers joy thanks to Haruto who is still trapprd but made friends with Katsumi a researcher and Lily

18if EP 2 "Time Stopped at Age 12"

This has me hooked reminds me Of Death Parade and with Hell Girl 4 this summer 2 good sopernatural animes.

What a rough anime that family

Katsumi Kanzaki is researching because his sister ( Yurina ) has the sleeping beauty syndrome We see him in real time talking to the killers even though he hates them murder for venegance is bot good either

The last one is the mastermind and is in the dream too Haruto did nothing to stop her and when the mastetmind wants to kill in dreams as with the witch Haruyo kills him instead . She is relesed from her dream and would like to meet Haruto . Lily appear but it wasnt her that showed Haruto the dream but maybe Yurina who we get a glimpse of.

This got weirdly dark at the same time I realized it might be building a harem.

Ever come across one of those pieces of media that just tries to be weird and faux-obtuse because the creators think that makes it cool and deep? Well, you have now.

Given that's all they were going for, they could have at least made it look better than it does.

Easy drop right here.

But Haruto is actually helping her get her vengeance seeing that she won't leave her dream unless she kills all the murderers. So she gets her revenge on all three of those guys with Haruto killing the last guy. That was pretty brutal there, and what Haruto did is pretty questionable, but between letting those thugs live and having that witch wake up, I think he made the right choice. Anyway, this show just continues to be a mess not really making an attempt to establish anything.

I personally liked the fact that Haruto wasn't just another cliche goody too shoes character this episode.

Wow. episode 3 is much better than the previous.

Rather than the show trying to be edgy and serious, it approached the storytelling with relationship dynamics between two characters. Hope they do something like that in the future.
