depends on what I think they want it for. MLM scheme, hell no, someone wants a friend? then yes. Average ish to slightly attractive woman wanting a date? Yes. Super hot woman wanting a date? no, cuz I wouldn't believe it.

-Slaughter them down with my Japanese Sword- thinking that they're trying to steal my Credit Card information! -_-; j/k

I'm fine with it. I run a business; I hand out cards with that information on it pretty much every day. If a stranger wants one- s'fine with me.

Honestly, unless you were of similar attractiveness, I would be no less suspicious if an attractive female approached me. Hell, why would any female of sufficient attraction approach a guy like me with such a request? That is even more suspicious.

I'd be super sketched out and would either give them a fake name and number or at the very least investigate as to while they want it.

Circumstances wise, if it was an inappropriate or unorthodox place and scenario, such as a random stranger on the street, I have to wonder how confident people are in their looks, or how gullible and naive someone is, or outright so unaware of their bias for appearance that they ignore general common sense and think "Hmmm, she certainly doesn't look psychotic or interested in money" or "He looks great. He surely is not a rapist".

I mean, seriously, how much of a horn dog does one have to be, or outright dumb in that scenario? Good looks do not mean someone does not lack insidious intentions, like rape, murder, torture, scams, etc.

In fact, I find it insulting that rape is thought to be the avenue for those "too ugly to get some". No, no it is not. Then again, I watched too many 48 Hours episodes.

In fact, this sort of thing angers me so, and I tend to see this attitude among teenagers, There is a really cruel "experiment ", and yes, I am considering if it is not just a prank running as a "social experiment", given that the person seems somewhat well meaning and generally understandable in his methodology, despite the extreme nature. Anyway, this person seduces girls into meeting him online for running away or for a weekend out, being of sufficient good looks, only to have someone in the backseat grab them to give them a scare before he lectures them, and most of them are teenagers it seems, or around that age.

I find this "experiment" to be incredibly unpleasant and perhaps too excessive, but I cannot help but at least think "Well, now you know." I dislike this inadequate degree of self awareness, and seeing so many young people fall for it just irks and worry me.

They just come up to me, no conversation or ice breaker and they already want my number? No thanks.

I usually just ignore them and carry on where I was supposed to be going

They can have my first name but they cannot have the rest of my name and my number.

I'd give them a fake name and a phone number to an asshole I don't like.

I've given out my number to strangers before. Heck I've jumped into cars with random people who are going to the same event as me in the past. Dangerous as it is these days I just remember that I have no money so I am not worth any type of ransom or anything like that. Besides half the time I'm at least four times as dangerous as they are. I don't trust the person obviously but it makes life easier somehow.
