I'll disagree with the character designs. I thought they were great and it makes the girls really stand out from other characters.

The setting is interesting and has potential to develop a memorable spy story. Music is also a highlight with the staff involved.

OP song is nice too with its style. I hope they develop some of the characters though especially the Princes, Ange, and Eric. Also, this girl has my attention so far:

I was looking forward to watching this one for some time and I enjoyed the episode
I'm not really sold on the girls' character designs because I kept thinking how smol and round they are compared to all of the other characters

That said, definitely like Dorothy's smirking face, found Angie entertaining

All this talk of lying, especially between friends, made me predict one of the girls is going to be a double agent, really hope I'm wrong about that

tbh I had a hard time following the story while I was watching it, can't say I really understand the political situation

Yeah I doubt we'll be seeing any character developement for Eric, unless they introduce zombies into this, lol.

I almost slept on this one, and I am so glad I didnt. I enjoyed it very much. I kept thinking to myself, damn the new season of New Game went all bad ass haha.

I will be keeping up with this one for sure.

Oh now this was awesome, didn't have high hopes for it after Magical Girl Raising Project but Yukiko Aikyou's character designs work sooo much better in this setting. Although Fumihiro Katagai's (Bungo Stray Dogs) mechanical designs really help. Just loved the whole world building they have going on, usually you can punch a ton of plot holes in these things <cough> Clockwork Planet<cough> but I'm buying into this whole hog. Love unexpected surprises, can't wait for more.

After watching the first few minutes it felt like a combination of Magical Girl Raising Project and Saga of Tanya the Evil (both of which I really liked) but then it's own flavour really came out and I'm loving it just as much.

Episode 2

So after an action-packed first episode, the characters are formally introduced as it goes back to the time Ange began attending school. Ange is a transfer student, Dorothy is actually an adult, Princess is what her name implies, and Beatrice is from a low-level noble family. While at the ball, Ange and Dorothy get orders for a mission to get the key from Morgan, and Ange disguises herself as Princess to get close to do so by staining her dress. And Ange learns that Princess' name is Charlotte and is the fourth in line for the throne, and the Duke of Normandy is her uncle looking for that key. With some craftiness, Ange manages to keep the key away by having the bells chime and during that time handing the key over to Princess, who isn't searched. That was really something and I certainly am liking it a lot. Those girls sure have what it takes to be spies.

OOOh so much spy stuff, this show is great. Ange is so mysterious, gonna be a great season there's just so much going on in this show. You have all the military drama of Tanya going on in the background while all this espionage is taking place plus way more moe girls. Something for everyone

Whilst I struggled with episode 1, as it felt action-heavy and didn't develop the characters much, I really enjoyed episode 2.

It's still got that "trust nobody" vibe, and it fleshed out Ange, Charlotte and Dorothy's personalities.

What spy would ever take the direct approach?

Fantastic execution, with so much depth teased. Oh, and it's no wonder I liked Dorothy the most - she's not a smoker, is direct and an adult .
I also had to laugh at Ange's alleged hometown name too, and the fact that she said that spies aren't assassins *cough* No. No. No. No. *cough*

I need to re-watch to fully digest everything, but it's very enjoyable to do so. Rooting for the Princess and Ange team.
