So I've got some suggestions for VRV that I find lacking which CR has.

First suggestion would be to show the simulcast date and times of an ongoing series. It's quite annoying having to switch over to CR just to see what the dates and times are so I know when the next episode is being released.

Also I wish that the Watched status of an episode is a bit more obvious. Right now is fine but other times it's not obvious if an episode watched watched or not (usually more harder to find when the thumbnail is white where the watched status is on).

I have not tried the VRV app on any other platforms but on the PS4 so I can only make suggestions pertaining to the PS4 app but I would love to see a "watched" status symbol of some type over episodes that you've already watched as well instead of taking a while guess over what you've watched already.

Those are my suggestions so far, I'm sure I'll think of more as I use VRV more.

I agree with this for the PS4 app. I hate guessing what i watched or partially watched.

My suggestions
- A history of the anime you watched, I like going back to see what I've seen.
- bug fixes, there are so many.
- the addition of shows that are on vrv partner platforms but not vrv itself (Tokyo ghoul for example).

I would suggest for dubbed content to add the translated on-screen text. A lot of the time, it isn't entirely necessary, but there are some episodes that there is an email on the screen completely in Japanese, yet since the translation isn't on the screen you'll get completely lost in the relevance.

My suggestions:
ability to reorder list easily.
having a history section.
having multiple lists, maybe favs, plan to watch, and watched?
MAL integration would be awesome, if it updated your MAL according to what you watched.
So I noticed when crunchyroll and funimation both have licenses on a show sometimes because one grabs it in s1 on the other in s2 or funimation does the dub it's listed twice. It would be nice if it wasn't, just use the season list so users don't have to go hunting down seasons and languages. at the very least maybe just link to the other seasons an
ability to search by genre and media type or have a tag search, example: I like alternate world anime a lot but they are difficult to find without knowing the names of such anime.

No clue if they're reading here, but I know I was on VRV last year, but recently switched over to just having a CR and Funimation individual subs respectively because of how cluttered the VRV app is. I think VRV could take a page from both apps TBH:

A "Continue Watching" section would be a godsend. Funimation has it on their app, a row that gets populated with videos of shows you were watching and simulcasts/simuldubs that just got a new episode uploaded. CR kind of has that in you're queue, but I like it present front and center.

Being able to see your browsing history. VRV has no option for that. It would be nice to clear our watch history.

Closed Captions. Kind of goes without saying.

And as far as the interface goes, I would like it if it took a page from Hulu's book. Have the home page list rows, The first row is the aforementioned continue watching row, the second is your queue/watchlist, and each row after is to the specific channel (Cartoon Homebrew, CR, Funimation, VRV Selection, etc.) From there when you click on the specific channel, have the channel specific page have their own categories (like what they do now.)

they do have a continue watching button now so you don't have to track which episode you are on at least but yeah there's still a lot the CR does better and for it being made by CR i'm surprised they didn't do those things on vrv too.

Is that actually working correctly now?

I remember a while back it seemed that "continue watching" dumped you back in the last episode you watched, even if you'd finished it, rather than putting you into the next unwatched episode.

it seems to work fine for consecutive watching as long as you get reasonably close the the end, it doesn't work for continuing in the middle of an episode, it also doesn't seem to work for watching episodes out of order.

I think the biggest suggestion for VRV is to put all the web design and paste it to Crunchyroll.

I would be happy if all they did was add a way to change the video quality setting like Crunchyroll has.

VRV wants to give me the best video quality possible, I watch shows there at 1080p. But unfortunately, I have poop internet (bellow 4 Mbps) and I can only handle 480p at best. So I have to watch the site give me 1080p video 5-10 seconds at a time as it is constantly pausing to buffer for another 5-10 seconds. No, I am not exaggerating, that is what I get. I wish that there was a way to set the video quality setting like in Crunchyroll. So that I can actually watch a video with out so many interruptions.

I would really like to be able to delete 'continue watching' episodes. I have several that I'm not interested in or some shows have a second language available so I've finished the series but suddenly it's being suggested that I watch it again in another language.

I really want the option to remove episodes or shows that I do not one to continue watching.

Gonna jump on your thread to add:

Make a Kindle Fire app. The absence of a Kindle Fire app is the *only* thing preventing me from subscribing to VRV. I very often download Amazon videos for later viewing. If I could do this with VRV, I would drop Amazon in a heartbeat.

A few other suggestions for all platforms (PC, Xbox, PS4, Mobile Devices, etc.):

- Can we get a show status "Ongoing, Ended, New Season expected xx/xx/xx" so we know what we're getting into before we start anything xD! Thanks..

- "Your Watchlist" Organization (possibly for premium members only as a bonus feature): allows users to create groups under Favorites to organize shows (Watched/Watching groups, Enjoyed/Meh/Hated groups, Watch again later, etc.) basically allowing user to name group and move shows to group so list is not a giant mess.

- If unable to allow users to create groups, please make it to where the"Your Watchlist" can be sorted.. my list is a jumbled mess as i bookmark shows to watch later and jump between many others... would love to see option to have in alphabetical order.
