Even though it's the title of the linked article, the thread title seems overly inflammatory and misleading. Nowhere in the article did Abe tell the UN to , 'shove it'.

Also, what is he supposed to mean by more activities by "elderly" in relation to the birthrate?

come on you got to cut Ruji some slack he can't even tell the difference between someone from Japan and someone from China

The site itself is an anti-muslim "Jewish" news site. I have no doubt their Islamophobic nature and the inflammatory article title are the exact reasons Rujikin chose to go with that particular site instead of linking a story from the guardian. His goal was more to focus on dehumanizing Muslims instead of focusing on what Abe actually said about not being able to take in refugees when they have so many domestic issues that need solving. Typical unintelligible clickbait, I hope one day Rujikin get bored with it but I highly doubt he will.

Outright refusing to do what the UN is telling them to do is a polite way of saying the same intent.

Politely declining does not have the same invective intent as 'go shove it'.

*And in trying to verify the source of the story, why are we discussing a statement made in 2015?

It's only been discussed here in 30 threads since 2015 so why not give it another? Probably showed up in his facebook timeline and he thought "yeah, take this musalims!"

Seems like a logical decision. Even if they didn't have any issues in their country, I wouldn't blame them for not wanting refugees.

japan already has a overpopulation problem in a number of areas so in someways their declining birthrate is probably a good thing nor is their population at a point where its underpopulated yet ether and i doubt they wouldn't adjust things if it reached that. as well as its a island nation which means they wouldn't have much spare room anyways. plus its odd i think to some degree why their desperate it seems to force other countries to take in people who have shown usually don't adapt to their new countries as well as often bring their problems with them even if they aren't actual terrorists, they still generally bring crimes like rape and similar ones with them. plus its true a lot of the so called refugees aren't actually from war zones they are just using the confusion caused by those fleeing war to enter countries and abuse the hospitality of those countries.

Like this is news, it's not really something new that Japan doesn't want mass immigration. Which is good, they understand it's a good thing to screen people and only take in the once that are considered safe.

Aha! JewsNews is it? Where they editorialize headlines to fit a narrow agenda?

That's the credible alternative to CNN, I see

The plot thickens...

If you're smart then you don't take CNN or JewsNews seriously because both follow a agenda.

UN has authority?

Yea they actually do, they can hurt countries by forcing trade bans and other things that can hurt a country. With that said I don't think they would do that to Japan as their very important to the world economy

I was wondering why I was feeling deja vu over this statement.

Hey, at least he's figured out Abe isn't the president of China this time.

So, progress? >.>

Recently in other threads: "ermagawd! can you believe that right winger who made a cnn vs trump wwe gif also made a picture with the CNN people who were Jewish? How racist!"

This thread: "ermagawd! can you believe this right winger linked a site called JewNews! How wrong and so anti-muslim!"

Which is it guys? Are we a bunch of Anti-Semites or are we stooges to Zionism. You can't have both. :D

FYI: First I've heard of JewNews and I know better Jewish news sites since they don't repeat 2 year old articles.
