Plot Summary

Kyō Mekui is a high school student who tends to skip school due to a trauma in his past. Kyō secretly creates songs using vocal song synthesis software as his hobby. Three girls who just entered fifth grade — the crybaby Jun "Jun-tan" Gotō, the strong-willed Nozomi "Zomi" Momijidani, and the somewhat sleepy Sora "Kū" Kaneshiro who takes life at her own pace — email Kyō. These three girls, who were raised together like sisters since childhood, want Kyō to help them break into music.

Crunchyroll has this

It was cute but also awkward tbh. Music wise, it was actually decent? I'm not impressed by the MC though. Literally nothing stands out so far about him.

Visual wise, I think the series is pretty to look at but the character faces has way too many blushes especially Jun. The comedy element seems to be somewhat self-aware.

"Awkward" barely begins to describe this; some of the view angles were questionable, but especially the last bit of dialog...

Hmm.. I actually liked the set up and Kyo came across as a pretty decent MC. The music was pretty good as well with another solid ED song (what is it this season with the good OP and ED songs?). Then they decided to go loli and that just doesn't do it for me. I suppose it's natural given the set up but that's just not my thing. I'll stick around for at least a little longer to see how far they push it but I can see myself dropping this otherwise promising series if they keep pushing.

Episode 1

So it begins with Kyo being a hikikomori doing music composition while he's shut in, and some lolis have taken an interest in his music. While the concept is decent, unfortunately the cliches just pile up here, all while the show didn't exactly establish itself well. I'll keep going for the time being as the loli trio should be interesting to learn about seeing that they are living in an orphanage after all.

Honestly, this was the hardest show to get through this season. Not a single thing in this show interested me.

It was cute until that last line even the music wasn't bad. Suspension of disbelief was being strained a little, where were the adults running the orphanage and why aren't they in school? Well at least he asked for forgiveness at the end, I'll give it another episode but if they keep that stuff up I'm out.

So, that was pretty good... until the lolis showed up.

Yeah, I knew there would be lolis. But I was not fully expecting the squeakiest of squeaky fakey cutesy girly voices. Jun's voice alone could be enough to keep me from watching. Also, dude's music is pretty good, but the girl band's music is less appealing (give it to me without vocals and I'd prefer it). ED was good.

Also, you know what's not entertaining at all? Girls manipulating boys with threats of false sexual assault/harassment claims.

Somehow I never enjoyed this. I mean the plot hole that I noticed is how could the girls know about him? And how did they not know he's some creep? And few other things and unsure they'll address that unless the one girl at school that seems to defend him is going to ask him whenever he goes back.

I kinda liked this, at least enough to stick with it for a bit, but only if they keep doing Nukui's Scrubs-style imagine spots and only if Sora keeps making me just want to cuddle her. The ONLY thing about this that's a minus for me (and it's a pretty big minus) is Nozomi's...well, everybody else has already complained about the last line of the episode, so yeah. I could do without everything Zomi is bringing to the table. Other than that and their "orphanage" just being a church (uhh....an orphanage should be more than a church, right?), I think this has potential to be cute, sweet, and fun.

Then again, I thought the same thing about Kumamiko until it turned into something completely despicable. Time will tell...

Episode 1

So we get introduced to Kyou, who is a Hikikomori and hasn't been attending school since it started (I think this school needs to get its prioritise sorted!). Kyou produces music for the internet but doesn't seems to be getting any popularity. One day he gets a mysterious email from, what he predicts, a very MATURE business man who wants to get his music in to a better position, of course, he accepts. After going to the designated area to meet he gets greeted to a bunch of cute lolis and yeah, they live in a church and, there really good and playing music..... i'm not really to sure, lmao! The girls want to get him in to there band and help them to be able to play a concert at the church (personally, a really weird place to hold a concert but, what do I know) ,and so, he accepts.

Pretty nice first episode overall. Our MC may be a creep and pretty boring but I hope that will change in the future upcoming episode(well we will have to see about being a creep though ). The animation is quite nice and fits well with the art style, only spotted a few weird moments when the girls were playing but thats about it. Music was nice and will probably watch continue to watch. Yeah forgot to mention, that last line was quite disturbing as well!

I suppose that Baby Metal had to be Very Young when they first started. Looking at Wikipedia, it appears that two of the three Baby Metal performers were 10 years old when they made their first appearance.

I agree though, that that last line was very inappropriate.

A lot of people seemed to be pretty squicked by this.

Post-credit scene aside, I thought the whole lolicon thing was in jest. Loved the old-school JPRG scene.

Yet another show that took me by surprise. Had no intentions of watching, but I got up much earlier than I normally do to work on lesson plans and such and decided to check this out.

I love the animation and character designs.

I can see why the loli might be a big detractor for some people. But, I didn't mind her. I thought she was cute and endearing. I guess I just watch a lot of shows with lolis and high pitched voices so it rarely gets to me. Like the little loli from Asterisk War. I thought she was cute too.

I thought it was hilarious when the MC immediately thought the worst and you heard sirens in the backgroun, then went full on Dragon warrior RPG mob fight. That was genius.

I really liked Sora.

I do agree with everyone else that that last line was pretty cringey. Still, overall really liked this. Music is great too! I liked the ED too!

If I add this into my normal rotation of shows, I am really going to need to take a hard look at all the offering shtis eason and cut some out. I need to get down to 8-10 and the two shorts I am watching.

Yeah, that line was awful. The Creepy pedophile vibe that popped up was also pretty terrible at the end. Definitely dropping this.
