Taking down my anime posters/wall scrolls.
Posted 7/10/17
After a few years of having a few of them on my wall I've decided to take them down.
Have any of you guys gone through something similar?

Yeah, I mean you have to grow up sooner or later. Nothing screams maturity like a plain wall or modern art.

I used to have a bunch of Anime, Final Fantasy and Transformer posters when I was in college. It looked tacky and I tossed them all when I got my first apartment.

You got to have them framed to avoid damage to the walls,
I do have none hanged on the wall, but few stored that looks like wall art and not just plain teen anime just in case.

yeah, because i'm moving

in an ideal world i'd have a room for all my geeky/nerdy stuff, so i can be free to decorate the rest of the house with ~modern~ decor. lol

When I was younger my parents (mum especially) would nag at me to take down any anime/game posters I had on my wall, so I ended up doing.
Though now I've accumulated a lot of anime posters from the magazines I buy, but I don't really have anywhere to put them because my wall is now covered in origami (idk why my parents don't have a problem with that).

Yeah, same here. I mean I still enjoy anime and all but I rather not have my walls cluttered with it.

My wall used to be decked out with anime posters from this Japanese magazine, I took them all down and ripped them up.
Now I only have a framed poster of devil Homura

Fan service lmao?

I put up posters on my walls for a few months when I was younger. At a certain point I just took them down cus it seemed immature and pointless.

It must be that conforming to societies' boring and mature outlook that took over.
