25 years old, couldn't care less what people think. 300$ anime painting, wall scrolls, figs everywhere? COME AT ME BRO.

If you're going to judge me because of a hobby instead of actually trying to know me, you weren't worth hanging around with in the first place.

&^$$ society. I took them down, yeah, to make room for stupider posters. %$^ you people who demand conformity. Never take down your posters!

(P.S. you probably should if you want a relationship...)

(P.S.S) I'm still an idiot to Crunchyroll so I'm struggling with how to handle "forum posts" and "quotes". Forgive.

I really really like anime so I hang poster anywhere in my room despite the complaint of my mother. Are there anyone like me?

I might rotate which ones I have up due to lack of wall space, but my walls being covered with anime and video game related wall scrolls and prints is not changing anytime soon.

Amen, my philosophy is if you got a problem with something I will gladly show you the door.

Haha nice, rebel! Luckily in my case, I never had to deal with the same problem. My parents were both super nerdy in high school so they couldn't say anything about my hobbies even if they wanted too

Never felt the need to have anything on my wall.

This! So much this. A girl I was interested in from high school wanted to hang out so I invited her over and the first thing she comments on when she walks in my room is my posters and manga collection. LMAO (And not in a good way, more like "Woww your really into this type of stuff, I wonder how you even get girls)

But it's all good after smoking a few bowls I found out she was a total gold digger. She flat out told me that her goal in life was to Marry the richest guy she can find and get carried throughout her life. THEN she would divorce the poor unsuspecting fuck for half his bank and live it up.

Needless to say I stopped fucking around with that girl.

34 years old here and still have posters/wallscrolls on my walls. It is all confined to one room though, I use it for my anime/manga/figure collection. Nice little room set aside from all the serious crap of the everyday world. If work or anything else starts getting me too stressed out I just go into that room for a bit for a nice little anime or manga binge to forget all my troubles.

Yeah. It's funny i remember for years all my walls were covered in posters of rappers. But eventually it became a combination of rappers, hot chicks and anime stuff.
Eventually it became more and more anime stuff. Anime pretty much took over. At this stage it wasn't wall scrolls and posters but stuff that i was printing out myself, off the net with my own printer.
At one point it was pretty bad, thinking back. I was putting up some pretty inappropriate stuff. Especially seeing as i was living with my mum and i have a younger sister. And my sister and her friends would watch movies and stuff in my room when i wasn't there
And yeah every so often when a friends girlfriend or if i bought a girl back i got some pretty awkard reactions.
I remeber one chick actually ripped some off the wall lol..

I remember we moved house and i started buying wallscrolls and figurines and stuff. I still had some non anime stuff up but my room did end up looking fairly otaku for a time there. But i wasn't putting up the bad printed stuff like before at least.

When i moved out with a house mate i had figurines and stuff on display in my computer room but that was it.

Then when i moved into my own unit i didnt put stuff up, left it all packed away. Then i moved in with some friends and same deal.

Now i am renting a house and for a while i just had some figurines and anime mugs and stuff on display in the spare room. But somewhere along the line i decided to order some new wall scrolls and i actually have several wallscrolls up in my lounge room.
I think i partially did it to decorate the place and make it feel more homey but i also partly did it to spin my mates out and for a laugh.
I even have an anime cock and calendar up in my kitchen, as well as an Alucard wall scroll.

The ones in my lounge are a bit pervy, not TOO bad. I do have a battlefield one up as well to ballance it out a bit at least..

Wont lie, sometimes i think "what am i doing?" and sometimes i feel a bit awkard or embarrassed about it. Just because i think i am a bit too old for it now as far as for when people bring their kids over or just other adults who were never into anime in general.
Even if my land lord comes over or the odd occasion i have girls here. It's funny when iam home and the ladies from the rental agency come to do an inspection of the place lol.
One of my mates ex girlfrinds was cool though, she liked them and said she can understand why i like it.

But maybe i should take them back down. Maybe.

I wouldn't take them down if I had any. I just don't care enough to buy any, but if I end up winning one sometime, it'll probably go up if it's something that I like.
