22/36 (average is 26)
Being Autistic what can you expect of course lower then average...to be fair you rarely have to read peoples emotions with their faces and eyes atleast i never have had to there are more obvious tells so being low doesn't mean much. Not surprised by my result lel Also reading emotions based on eyes alone or even body language isn't a good indication of social intelligence as a whole so o/ |

oh. maybe it's because it's just my demographic? but it does say ALL participants so I'm confused.
EDIT: oops pic isn't loading but I also got 31/36 but it said "Your score is lower than 18% of all participants." EDIT2: got it ![]() |

Your score is 29 out of 36.
Your score is equal or better than 74% of all participants. Does this test work equally well for all people around the world? This test was developed in Great Britain and the images you saw were taken from British magazines in 1990's. Unsurprisingly, the test doesn't work perfectly for people who are not native speakers of English or for people who come from cultures that are very different from Britain's. Should you worry if you got a low score? No. Your screen lighting level, mood, fatigue and many other factors might have affected your score. The results of this test are useful when they are averaged across many people, but they can be inaccurate for any individual person. |

![]() I mean, as someone with Asperger's, I think I did pretty damn well. So how exactly do these statistics work? Looking everyone's results, I guess they randomly decide between showing the average, better than, better than or equal to, lower than, or lower than or equal to. Is there a reason why they don't show the comparisons the same way for everyone? |

22 out of 36.

I got a 22/36... which is rather odd since when my psychologist gave me a legitimate test on how well I can read emotions, he reported that I did "pretty well".
