I've been wondering how many people actually use 4k since it still seems relatively new. Microsoft also really pushed for it during their E3 conference, and Sony as well.

I don't like bying new and overpriced tech, I'll most probably stay with a good old 1080p until it's completely wiped up from the market.

1080p. I may just stick with 1080p - the view distance seems sufficient on the games I've played. I think I've gotten to the point that my brain is satisfied with the amount of detail it can see at once. I'm not spotting any more little pixels of that guy's head in the corner of the window.

Recently I bought a 4k monitor; It is perfect for productivity and watching movies, series, etc.

I'm really happy with it.

1080p is nice enough for me I mean its not exactly like you need it to live or get better gameplay out of it,

I personally dont think that 4k is really worth it.
