Does anyone here with low self-esteem feel this way? Like they want to feel good about themselves and have high self-esteem but not be an arrogant person. What do you think?

That's easy. Love yourself, speak your mind and don't care what others think. Just don't go around saying you are better than anyone else. That crosses the line into arrogance. Be respectful but remember no one will look out for you but you so act accordingly.

The title of the thread and the opening post are at odds with each other.

Is high self esteem arrogance or not?

Of course, Judar is sexy. I'm not sure about you but I know Judar is definitely.

Sorry, if that sounds rude.

Ya' know.... some people only read the thread title and respond off of that alone, especially if there's like fifty million pages on a topic.

You can't have a topic title say. "Do you like Bronies?" And then a reply says. "Yeah."

But the opening post actually says. "You HATE bronies, don't you?!"

Totes a bait and switch.

To be honest, I didn't know how I wanted to ask the question. My mind drew a fuzzy.

I dunno. I pursue having no ego. ideally to be nothing more than a function.

Erase the self and erase the pain and conflicts resulting from ego......

I smell a disfunctional relationship.

Once a person over-estimates himself/herself at the cost of other people's worth, that's when someone crosses the line into arrogance. Basically, some can't seem to make themselves feel good without dragging other people down and/or completely disregarding others, and that's when it becomes a problem.

Yes, it is a concern of mine, and coworkers and family complain that I can't take compliments. Buy, hey, the thought of foolishly getting ahead of myself over miniscule accomplishments is abhorrent, especially since that shit trips people up and even gets them killed.
