You guys are fighting [for] net neutrality but not giving UK anything...isn't that breaching net neutrality then!?

CR has some titles from Anime Limited that can be viewed in the UK, but not in the USA: http://www.crunchyroll.com/publisher/animelimited

So by your thinking, those licenses are "biased" or "discriminatory" against the USA. It's the same either way, the available license only covers what it covers.

Yeah and Gangsta I can't get access to because apparently it's region locked...go figure.

Back on topic, I had True Tears in my watch list with nowhere to stream it, so it's nice to have it here now.

I noticed that when I was in England last month. I wonder whether it's available anywhere at all on CR. All I know is that Funimation has the US rights.

True Tears is one of the few shounen romance shows where the main male character is interesting and not a blank slate for the male audience to see as themselves. Also, one of the only shounen romance shows where the secondary male character is a fully fleshed out person and not just a wing man or comic relief.

I cannot recommend True Tears highly enough if you enjoy deep character dramas.

Where on earth did you get that it was shounen from; it's a VN adaptation. (so strictly not seinen either, but that's closest)
Do remember it as having some actual drama in it, not just the typical nakige (visual art's/Key style) twists.

I can't tell if you are making a bad joke or don't have a clue what net neutrality is.

Hey everyone, you may have already heard the news that Chargeman Ken is now available for Crunchyroll members in the US and Canada!

Infamous among anime fans in Japan, this 1974 series by Knack Productions is known for its nonsensical plots, absurdly incompetent animation, and brutal 10-year-old hero. See young Ken Izumi gun down wave after wave of ineffectual aliens, while dealing with misaligned animation cels, repetitive music, and a near total lack of sound effects. The best joke is that none of this was meant as a joke.

Geez, what kind of description is this for a show? Is it to let people know what they're in for, so they can watch it ironically with a clear mind? If that's the case, good on you crunchyroll. I guess.

And now to the actual case...
So yeah. See this, anime personnel? Yeah, look at that spot colored darker green. That country's called Finland (or Suomi as the locals say), since you clearly weren't aware. Now that you have acquired Awareness(tm), I am sure that you can use said awareness the next time you publish new titles, yes?

Changerman Ken, CR isn't paying anyone for this pathetic offering are they? Whatever happened to the alliances with Funimation and Kadokawa? Why is CR getting such bottom of the barrel garbage?

These came from Disotek who usually hosts their shows on Crunchyroll.

Jesus Christ, it's already 2017, and people still don't get how anything sublicensed by Discotek is inherently US / Canada only. CR has already been doing it for years.

Sorry but I don't buy this completely. Sure, it's not CR deciding to deprive every non-North American of catalogue titles and laughing evilly at the idea, BUT what business to do, which deals to pursue, how to bargain with distributors, yeah, that's stuff CR decides. I know it's not their fault, but if the current way licensing works is demented someone's got to use their leverage to change that, and CR is in a position where it could do something. Which means that yeah, people pointing out that this way of dealing with the matter is becoming really annoying are right to do so. At least they know this is something that people doesn't like and know there's a lot of subscribers who'd be grateful if they were to find a way to change that, and should put their efforts in that direction.
