Do you have Trypophobia?

This drives me up a wall, makes my skin crawl and shiver, and makes my head itch. I put myself through suffering so I can make the rest of you suffer.

The image if photoshopped but still. Kill me now Jesus Christ

Isn't there a debate on whether or not this is a real phobia.

Probably. I don't believe it's a real phobia, but rather an instinct. Like how people are scared of spiders. Whatever it is, it's effect is real

Yeah, not recognized and not in the DSM. One school of thought on it is that it is a conflation of a fear or disgust of such things as wounds and things that live in holes (insects in fruit, maggots, worms) rather than the actual holes themselves

Sponges are fine actually. Well I mean yeah I guess your right. But the fear of snakes, spiders and all of that is pretty instinct based. I guess the idea seemed better in my head. I was trying to say it would be weird for instincts to be considered phobias. Weird patterns don't really mess with me. I think it's more or less a the holes to skin part.

Of course, instincts keep you alive and spiders and snakes can kill you.

I kind of want to throw a sponge at you to see how you'll react.

Yeah, the holes don't bother me. The thought of what causes them on the other hand.

Who wouldn't feel somewhat uneasy at the sight of that?
