It's gross but I've seen it so much so I'm kinda fine with it.

second image looks unnatural, as if an implant or foreign growth..

first simply looks like dermal perforation, would heal given sufficient time and medication, granted, I still wouldn't want to deal with that... would hurt pretty extensively, especially considering it appears to be the palm of a hand...

Who wouldn't feel somewhat uneasy at the sight of that?

I'm neutral to trypophobia, but man! that image is so gross. I rather look at holes over pumice or cheese than that.

Isn't it kind of trolly to ask if someone has a phobia and then plop the image right down in the thread instead of just linking it? @[email protected] I have trypophobia and have since I was a kid.

I kinda agree with comments saying it's based on instinct. More often than not, clusters of holes make my skin crawl as if I can "feel" or at least understand in a very raw way what it would feel like for something to be nestling in my skin. Whole colonies of something.

And yet... I love polka dots! lol It really only works with clusters of holes that resemble something an insect would make. Honeycomb doesn't usually bother me cause 1) I know bees don't nest in skin 2) the hexagonal shape scares me less than a straight up hole. And yet, if there's a picture of huge honeycombs with loooots of holes my skin prickles.

This was a lot worse when I was younger. I would rub at my skin when I felt it crawl and a lot more things set me off even if they weren't round or exactly hole shape (stucco ceilings). But now? The holes have to have the right depth to them or I'm just not freaked out.

Is it trolly? Yes, though he kind of admitted that in the opening post.... You don't have to go back and read it, hehe.

He said that he wanted us to suffer with him. So yeah.
