Do you like to read up on news just to get angry?

Do you like to get angry, for the adrenaline rush to the head as you approach the border of bursting a vein on your temple?

I think some people are. I think some people like getting all worked up.

"UGHGHG I WANT TO SMASH THE TV SET BECAUSE I SAW THIS NEWS AND IT PISSED ME OFF!!"

There, feel that rush to the head? All that blood pumping to the face as your eyes get bloodshot.

Then, you can get together with some other outrage-addicted people and yell at each other on an internet forum somewhere about some piece of news that you both end up really pissed at each other about.

Double the pleasure, double the fun.

I think that's how it works with some people.

Just don't over do it, okay?

No, I like reading the news because I think living with the truth is better than living in ignorance.

Gotta say I got completely addicted to politics after having a Candidate I really supported. Now I am addicted to keeping up with politics.

Really I want to sit back and debate/read politics 24/7 but I know I should be doing other things.

Now politics just depresses me. I keep myself informed, but I try to limit my intake.

Yeah I am. The salt is divine but like others have said it's just for fun.

Sadly there are people like this.

What is this news you speak of? I simply leave my opinion at the door, and depending on who decides to answer the door.... well, do the math.

My opinion+someone else's opinion= a fucking dead end. Let's be honest here, you all know I'm pointless

Why would anyone want to be outraged to get a kick out of it

Put it this way, if you can't sleep at night because of it, maybe you should reevaluate your situation. I'm just sitting here laughing my ass off being stress free, but yet there are people who take it so hard that it actually gets to them. It makes them seethe.

Not to long until people will live that way, and I'll still be here smiling

I prefer living in a box. Preferably that box is my house.

I like to keep up with news to get an idea of what's going on in the wider world. Can't say I particularly enjoy getting angry, though.

It's more of a trickle down effect.

People won't shut up about it, prompting me to care. lol

No, anger unchecked is too much like watching boric acid kill off a pest population (cockroaches). Once ingested it starts as a mild sensation, then eats at your insides until there's not much energy left to move forward (for the bug it's death). Unlike the roach you can make a choice here. See it for what it is, channel it, move on / forward; otherwise, welcome to the unforgiving world of remaining stuck. Anger, fear, and resentment: God, can you imagine what great company they will be if you let them stay.

I look at the breaking news notifications from my PC, and some other news tidbits I may see on facebook (though I take any facebook news with a grain of salt and check its validity), or on Crunchyroll occasionally in the general forums. I avoid FOX because that "news" irritates me.

I'd post up a video, but as its an hour an 40 long, nobody will watch the whole thing and it'll all be for naught.

There's a lot of truth out there, and what is true is very different from what is important. The news feeds us sensational trivialities to keep us watching; I say dump it and read history and philosophy books if you don't want to live in ignorance.
