It's a situation we all have dealt with and will continue to see in the future. It's always a sad day for a dedicated community to accept it's finally the day the servers close down and/or there's not enough players to continue a stable playerbase regardless how fun the game is, the players burn out sooner or later.

But basically, what MP games do you wish would get a revival?
Any of the Armored Core games would honestly be my dream to see a huge surge of players and interest in. We're getting Armored Core 6 soon (rumored), I only hope the candle doesn't burn out so quick in such a fun series.

A remastered MW2. I have so many memories with that game. A good version of Runescape, somehow modern and full of players again would be awesome.

I never played it multiplayer, but I love nearly everything about Chromehounds.

Dead Space had a multiplayer mode that was a bit rough but great fun. A great blend of co-operative and versus multiplayer with horror tones.

Alien versus Predator (2010) might have been received with mixed reviews, but it had a brilliant game-type hidden away in its multiplayer, infestation mode. Teaming up with others as colonial marines, finding somewhere to hunker down and mount a defense and slowly seeing your number whittle away to the aliens was always a fun, trilling time. Plus, the mode had a map based on the Antarctic temple from the first AVP film which would shift and alter after a set amount of time passed.

My voice on dead multiplayer games

Every Suit at NCSoft can die in a fire and burn in hell

Yep 5 years and my hate is still going strong....with an extra thanks to them fanning the flames recently

Just a question but how well is Titanfall 2 doing on the PC recently?

It's on sale this weekend and I might get it. Is it easy to find matchmaing?

I don't play multiplayer games too much but i guess the only game that comes to my mind is Killzone: Shadow Fall. It's actually surprising to see that there are still players playing but as for Intercept (Co-op DLC), not so much. There are some but it seems at certain times of the day.

Still does my heart good to boot up old school Guild Wars from time to time and have a look around Ascalon. Really miss the old place, sometimes.

I think Pokken Tournament needs to be revived, I know it died down sort of fast when it came out. Hopefully the Switch port can increase it's player base. But a "true" dead multiplayer game imo would have to be Mega Man BN/Star Force series good stories and gameplay but just died too fast.

If you do get it for the PC, could you post the average players online from the in-game counter?

I play it on the PS4, and there the average between 10 and 11 pm EST is between 6000 and 7000 players online (sometimes lower, some times higher than that bracket depending on the day) so there's no problem matchmaking there.

I wanted to also get it for the PC because of the better aiming possibilities during parcour, but I didn't buy it because I wasn't confident on the health of the PC population since it's always lower than consoles for multi-platform games.

I'm still building my gaming laptop recently.

Got a Predator Helios 300 but I plan to add more memory storage on it so to install more content. I'm honestly not confident in Titanfall 2 right now compared to some other games, like Battlefield 1 where I can easily find games any day of the week.
