Man what a terrible loss for music. They were **the** iconic band of the 2000s.

So sad.

If you need help people, seek it. No need to suffer in silence till it gets to this point :(

Chester left behind 6 kids.

I just heard this on the radio. I was a huge fan of Hybrid Theory in my high school days. RIP and best wishes to his family, I had no idea he had so many children.

He was legitimately great though.

Hybrid Theory spawned hit after hit after hit after hit...

And suicide is for the weak? We have veterans in America committing suicide every week.

People view seeking help as weak. That's also part of the problem.

some of it, not all of it.
Sometimes it's a very complex thing to sort out, if you can sort it out that is.

I loved them, their music got my through a lot when I was younger and I still default to it when things are excessively rough.
I've never been so upset over a celebrity's passing before, I feel like I personally lost someone even though he didn't know I existed.

Seeking a solution to a problem is part of being successful. Working through problems and potentially encountering failures along the way is part of being successful.

I dont expect the average joe to understand the nature of reality, or that such failures will see their consciousness spat back onto the wheel in another form to learn the same lesson another time, but sheeit. Spade is a spade, suicide is for the weak minded.

Man, I used to be a huge fan of LP and even though a lot of their stuff was a bit angsty, I never really thought Chester was going through such emotional hardships. Really sad to see him go...

Anyway, here's Breaking the Habit, one of my favorite songs by them: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v2H4l9RpkwM

PS: I feel like this isn't the place to debate suicide. Have some respect for the dead.

I can respect that (even though in 99.999% of cases I cant respect suicide, the burning monk aside)

Suicide needs to be banned because it's harmful to your own health. Anyways, I never cared about Linkin Park in the first place.
